💡Dublin's AI Landscape: From Experiment to Everyday Work Mark Kelly, founder of AI Ireland and The AI Awards, shares how AI in business has moved beyond chatbot demonstrations to integrating AI directly into their day-to-day operations. Key insights: 🔷The practical work comes first, with AI speeding up clinical assessments, allowing the specialist to confirm and make the final decision. 🔷Some organisations are shifting from saving time to creating value, using AI to make existing services easier to use and develop new customer offerings. 🔷The next challenge is trust, as organisations focus on testing AI's usefulness, measuring its impact and keeping people involved where judgement matters. With the 2026 AI Awards set to take place on 17 November 2026 in Dublin, discover the nominees, people and projects shaping the next chapter of Ireland’s AI story. 🗞️ Dublin’s Private Sector Continues to Grow Despite Global Uncertainty The latest S&P Global PMI survey shows Dublin's private sector remained in growth territory during Q3 2026, extending a run of expansion that has now continued for more than three years. The PMI Index recorded a reading of 52.0, crucially above the 50-point threshold that separates growth from contraction. A renewed rise in new business provided a welcome boost to Dublin's private sector in the third quarter as new orders increased to a solid 52.3, reversing the flat performance seen in Q2. Overall, Dublin's broad-based nature of growth across the construction, manufacturing and services sectors, together with a renewed increase in new business, suggests firms are entering the final quarter of the year with positive momentum. 🔹Read more: https://lnkd.in/d7r7yeja 🔹Sign up for more Dublin insights: https://lnkd.in/eiM_cR9D #DublinEconomy #PrivateSector #BusinessNews Dublin City Council South Dublin County Council Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Fingal County Council Smart Dublin Grant Thornton Ireland Fingal Economic Development Natasha Kinsella B.Sc, M.Sc, M.A, Ed. 🏙️ We are delighted to announce that Dublin Brand is now officially a part of the scenery on Dublin’s iconic Grafton Street! Introducing ‘The Dublin D’, a contemporary installation that brings Dublin Brand into the physical landscape of the region. Located on Grafton street, in the heart Dublin’s city centre, it provides residents and visitors with a tangible way to engage and capture memories with the brand. Standing 2.7 metres high, the elements used in its letters have been carefully selected, with each one reflecting a different aspect of our county, its character, its culture, and us - the people who call it home. D | Bronze Mesh 🟤 Inspired by the bronze tones found throughout Dublin’s sculptures, architecture, and evening light. U | Foliage 🌿 Reflects nature, growth and the strong connection between Dublin’s urban areas, surrounding communities & natural landscape. B | Oak 🌳 Celebrates craftsmanship, tradition, and the materials and architectural details that have shaped Dublin throughout its history. L | Water 🌊 Evokes the River Liffey and the Irish Sea. It captures movement, reflection, and Dublin’s enduring connection to its coastline. I | Music 🎼 Featuring engraved sheet music from the iconic song Molly Malone, this element pays tribute to Dublin’s creativity and rich musical heritage. N | Mirror 🪞 A reflective surface that mirrors those standing before it, a reminder that Dublin’s identity is shaped by you - its people, our communities, and the experiences that we share. The Dublin Brand is a collaborative initiative, with the four Dublin Local Authorities working together to strengthen the region’s identity and international profile.
