Deputy Chief of Mission David Browstein and Commercial Counselor Mark Russell had the pleasure of attending the signing ceremony for Nashville-based TransCore, winner of the tender for the Tel Aviv Congestion Toll Project. In partnership with Electra, a leading Israeli EPC firm, TransCore will establish, operate, and maintain the congestion toll system in the Dan region, an initiative designed to reduce traffic and promote public transportation. The program is expected to generate approximately 1.3 billion shekels annually, funding major public transportation projects, including the Tel Aviv metro. TransCore is a global leader in this space and recently implemented the congestion pricing project in Manhattan, New York. The U.S. Embassy is proud to see more American companies competing in Israeli infrastructure projects and contributing to Israel’s continued economic growth.
