William Sharp, detto Bauer (Dothan, 3 maggio 2003), è un giocatore di football americano statunitense che milita nel ruolo di tight end per i Tampa Bay Buccaneers della National Football League (NFL).
Carriera universitaria

[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Sharp non disputò alcuna partita nella sua prima stagione ai Southeastern Louisiana Lions nel 2021.[1] L'anno seguente fece registrare 11 ricezioni per 78 yard e un touchdown, oltre a correre 10 volte per 83 yard come quarterback nella formazione wildcat.[2] Nel 2023 fu inserito nella formazione ideale della Southland Conference dopo avere ricevuto 29 passaggi per 288 yard e 3 touchdown, oltre a correre 133 yard e altri 5 touchdown.[3] A fine anno annunciò che avrebbe cambiato istituto.[4]
Oklahoma
[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Nel 2024 Sharp si trasferì a Oklahoma.[5] Nella sua unica stagione con la squadra fu il tight end titolare.[6] Il 7 dicembre 2024 optò per cambiare nuovamente istituto.[7]
LSU
[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Il 13 dicembre 2024 Sharp annunciò che sarebbe passato a LSU, dove giocò l'ultima stagione nel college football.[8]
Carriera professionistica

[modifica | modifica wikitesto]Sharp fu scelto nel corso del sesto giro (185º assoluto) del Draft NFL 2026 dai Tampa Bay Buccaneers.[9] Debuttò come professionista subentrando nella gara del primo turno contro i Cincinnati Bengals.
