I look forward to working with you on your writing, language, and academic development.

Meg Loewen

Picture of Meg LoewenAs an EAL and Academic Support Specialist, I support students with their English language, writing, and academic skills. Before joining the ASC in 2017, I worked as a middle school teacher in Manitoba and volunteered in educational settings on five different continents. I have a Masters degree in Cross-Cultural Education and the Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA). I appreciate how individual learning styles, goals, motivations and stories shape each of us as learners, and I aim to support my students’ learning in the way that best suits them.
