  • Silgan Holdings Inc. and Trivium Packaging reached an agreement on a proposed transaction that will combine both Silgan's Metal Containers segment and Food and Beverage Flat Cap Closures businesses with Trivium to create Silgan Metal Containers and Closures (“Silgan MCC”). The scale of the combined business unlocks additional opportunities to champion the unique attributes of metal packaging and its sustainability features, innovate for value, and drive costs out of the supply chain – improving the total cost advantage for customers. Thank you to the whole Trivium team for their continued professionalism, commitment, and focus that have brought us to where we are today. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eiH3PDPu #WeContainWhatMatters

  • Two recognitions celebrating excellence in metal decoration and the expertise behind it. We received Best of Category in Aerosol & Bottles in the 2026 IMDPA Awards for the aluminum bottle produced for Primo Brands’ Zephyrhills water. Through a series of 360-degree designs combining complex, tight-registration graphics, metallic effects, and layered inks, the character of each region comes to life on aluminum. The IMDPA also named Mark Donegan, Graphics Technician at Trivium, Decorator of the Year, recognizing his technical precision, creativity, and craftsmanship. Congratulations to Mark Donegan and everyone involved in bringing this award-winning packaging to life. #WeContainWhatMatters #metalpackaging #packagingdesign #IMDPA #packagingawards

  • Trivium has been recognized by Prêmio ABRE da Embalagem Brasileira with a Silver Award in the Sustainability category for our work on Coty’s Adidas Clinical aluminum aerosol can. The artwork presented a unique challenge: combining a retro touch with a sophisticated finish while maintaining clarity of essential information on the package. In addition, each version of the package needed its own personality, while also reflecting Adidas' authenticity and vibrant spirit. Our team developed a solution that not only met the design's aesthetic expectations but also enhanced the package's sustainability through a structural redesign that reduced its weight by 25% compared to the previous model, thereby optimizing logistics and reducing material consumption. In addition, Trivium’s advanced aluminum alloy and innovative manufacturing process, which eliminates traditional remelting of ingots, was used, reducing carbon emissions by more than 50%. Other reductions and inclusions of recycled materials further reinforced the commitment to a circular economy and sustainable practices. The results were remarkable, the solution scalable, and the overall project described as inspirational. Congratulations to our partners and colleagues who made this achievement possible! #WeContainWhatMatters #award #sustainability #packaging #design

  • Real listening demands action.    In an interview with HR Chief Magazine, Trivium's CPO Floor van Griensven discusses why most employee listening strategies generate data but fail to drive visible action, and challenges leaders to change that narrative by building a feedback culture that prioritizes action over analytics. In the article, Floor shares how to go beyond surveys to engage the workforce, the importance of open, honest communication, the varied dynamics of the workforce, and the idea that tactics should not be viewed as one-size-fits-all. Her knowledge and experience provide business leaders with digestible, actionable inspiration. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eZwtkPKq #WeContainWhatMatters #HR #leadership #employee #engagement

  • Imagine a world without packaging. Food would be harder to preserve and transport safely. Products would be more vulnerable to damage. Supply chains, trade, and everyday access to essential goods would look very different. Today, we join the global packaging community in celebrating the inaugural World Packaging Day, launched by the WPO World Packaging Organisation. Packaging helps make modern life possible. It supports health, safety, and quality of life. It can help reduce food waste by protecting food and extending shelf life. It enables products to move through local and global economies. And through innovation, responsible design, and circular thinking, it can contribute to a more sustainable future. These roles are reflected in the four themes of World Packaging Day: ➡️ Packaging for progress ➡️ Packaging against food waste ➡️ Packaging and economic growth ➡️ Packaging and sustainability At Trivium, we are proud to be part of an industry that protects what matters and continues to improve how it does so. #WeContainWhatMatters #WorldPackagingDay #packaging #circularity

  • This year, for the fourth time in a row, our team in Youngstown proudly stepped up to support Panerathon, a 10K and 2-mile walk/run supporting the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center. Trivium produced more than 20,000 aluminum bottles for the event, filled in partnership with On Us Water. Created by our in-house graphics team around the 2026 “Rise + Unite” theme, the bottle features photochromic ink that appears clear indoors and transforms into a bright pink, sunset-like glow when exposed to UV light. We were also proud to see a total of 144 walkers and runners join the Trivium team this year, including 20 children, bringing colleagues, families, and friends together behind a cause with deep personal meaning for members of our community. This video feature by The Business Journal | Youngstown Publishing Co. shows how our team helped bring this year’s Panerathon support to life. #WeContainWhatMatters #Panerathon #communityimpact #packaginginnovation #metalpackaging

Trivium Packaging has produced the Panerathon bottles for several years and is serving as the event’s lead sponsor this year. The company works with the Panerathon team to develop a new bottle design each year, including this year’s heat-sensitive “Rise and Unite” design. Trivium employees are also active participants, with 144 walkers and runners registered this year, including 20 children. Pastello said the company’s involvement is driven by its connections to breast cancer survivors and its commitment to supporting the community. This year’s Panerathon will take place Aug. 23. Register for the annual event at Panerathon.org.
