Old Square Chambers is a specialist set with 84 members and 19 King’s Counsel. The defining quality of our Chambers is excellence. This is the standard we set for ourselves in the delivery of services to clients, and the criterion by which we assess possible candidates.

Old Square Chambers is known for its friendly workplace culture and proud to have been one of the first to relax conventional clerk/barrister formalities, trying to do away with “redundant traditions”. At all times our work ethic reflects professionalism and dedication.

Chambers has an Equality and Diversity Policy and fully complies with the principles of the Bar Standards Board Handbook.

When vacancies arise we recruit from within, make use of approved recruitment agencies and advertise externally.
