VOGUE. Yes, that Vogue. Sophie Collins and I were barely conscious when we pulled this. Our daughters were five months and eight months, plus a toddler too. We also landed The Mirror, The Sun and Stylist (twice). Being a Mum doesn't slow you down. It fine tunes you. As a mother to a daughter, it's made my ambition bigger, my fear deeper and every reason to keep going has her face on it. So if you want results, give it to a Mum. I sold BIG little London to Factotum, one of the fastest growing professional services practice in London. The announcement was made alongside Media Bounty | B Corp, who are also now part of Factotum too. I first met Media Bounty's Jake Dubbins at The Drum Agency CEO dinners. I wasn't a CEO, but John Pearson didn't fancy it and Gordon Young let me in anyway. I remember it as clear as day, sitting on the sofas in The Hoxton opposite each other and hearing, "We're an ethical media agency." No one was spouting that back then and if they were, it wasn't backed up by B Corp status. Since then, I've followed their agency. Their #WombStories campaign with Essity Bodyform taught me what endometriosis was. I was 32. 32 and only learning what endometriosis is, prompting a visit to the GP. That's Media Bounty's work. So to now be headlining Campaign UK alongside them in the same #acquisition story is a pretty remarkable career moment. I'm not going to be humble about this one. BIG little London has been acquired by Factotum alongside Media Bounty | B Corp. I bootstrapped this business. Scaled it past £1m revenue. Nearly lost it all after my daughter was born. Built it back up and sold it on her second birthday. There is a lot to be said for a woman going through #matrescence. Nothing is more fearless, more determined, has more grit and fire in the belly than a woman who has just given birth. Personally, as a mother to a daughter, I felt an even greater responsibility - but that's another story. If you know me, you know I hate #PR slop, "I'm proud to announce..." but I'm beyond proud. There’s a new statue in London - a mother, standing tall, her arms full, her expression steady. It’s a tribute to the unseen strength of mothers. To the women who hold families, jobs, and entire worlds together - quietly, consistently, and without fanfare. When we launched #GiveItToAMum at BIG little London we wanted to challenge a truth so many of us already know: that productivity isn’t measured in hours spent at a desk, but in focus, resilience and the sheer efficiency that comes from making every minute count. Working Monday to Wednesday doesn’t mean doing less. It often means doing more — in less time, with more heart, and a thousand invisible tasks in between. This statue feels like a physical embodiment of that message. A moment of public recognition for what so often goes unseen. To every mother who’s ever worked late after bedtime, held a meeting with a toddler on her lap, or been told her part-time hours meant she was “less committed” - this is for you. We see you.
