After the 10th anniversary edition of The Glass Wall, we sat down with Sue Unerman to dicuss what has, and hasn’t, changed for women at work. 🔹 AI hasn’t removed bias. Technology can change how we work, but it doesn’t automatically change who gets heard, promoted or trusted. 🔹 Remote work isn’t automatically more equal. Flexibility can be liberating, but invisibility can come at a cost. If leadership notices the people they physically see, who gets left behind? 🔹 Representation isn’t the same as power. Women have made huge gains in non-executive board roles. But operational leadership remains a very different story. 🔹 Doing a great job isn’t enough. One of the most persistent workplace myths is that talent will simply be recognised. Sometimes you have to make your contribution visible, ask for opportunities and understand the unwritten rules. The battle for audience attention has never been more fragmented, and at the LG Ad Solutions Thought Leadership Breakfast, fragmentation was the starting point for a wide-ranging conversation between New Digital Age Editor-in-Chief Justin Pearse and Abi Watson, Head of Publishing at Enders Analysis. The conversation explored how broadcasters and media owners are adapting to an audience that no longer sits neatly in front of a single screen, and what that means for trust, quality and the future of premium content. https://lnkd.in/ewRVA5yT

Imagine spending millions on digital advertising only to discover that more than 90% of the people clicking through to your products leave almost immediately. For many consumer packaged goods brands, this isn’t a hypothetical scenario; it’s a pattern they regularly encounter when measuring campaign performance, with bounce rates often exceeding 90%. That’s an extraordinary amount of traffic generating little meaningful engagement. Yet for years, CPG marketers have had very little visibility into what’s happening once consumers reach a retailer’s website. Oliver Leigh, Co-Founder and CEO at Portal, examines the fundamental problem with how digital advertising for CPG brands is measured and optimised - and what can be done about it. https://lnkd.in/eR3B9dK5

👉 𝗖𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗗𝗼𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝘀... Four words to summarise today humorously, at 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 NewDigitalAge. Funniest moment of the day was either Anant Joshi asking questions about Warburtons to a Hovis CMO, or Justin saying flannel multiple times instead of funnel... A great day at The Soho Hotel today, catching up with familiar faces and meeting new people across our industry. A special thank you to Zuzanna Gierlinska, Chief Impact Officer at Bluestripe Group, for making it possible for me to be there, I really appreciated it. Plenty to think about across AI, accountability, measurement and how people discover and buy. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the conversations and made me think differently. 1️⃣ 𝗔𝗜 & 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 👉 Rachel Aldighieri | CEO, DMA (Data & Marketing Association) UK 👉 Bobi Carley | Director of Media & Advertising Relations, ISBA 👉 alex kozloff | Director of Industry Relations, IAB UK 2️⃣ 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 Who owns performance as more of the work becomes automated? 👉 Michelle Sarpong | Head of Activation, the7stars 👉 Daniel Glynn| Media Buying Lead, The HEINEKEN Company 👉 Matt Treasure | Head of Activation, WPP Media 3️⃣ 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 Connecting advertising investment to meaningful business results. 👉 Mark Brown | CMO, Hovis Bakeries 👉 Katie Atkinson | Head of Product, Havas Media Network 👉 Jonathan Haines | MD, UK & Northern Europe, Equativ 4️⃣ 𝗔𝗜-𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 Discovery, trust and choice as AI changes the buying journey. 👉 Steve R.| Chief Commerce Officer, Publicis Media 👉 Nick E. | Head of Retail Media, Mars 5️⃣ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 The structural shifts reshaping advertising. 👉 Bill Fisher | Principal Analyst, EMARKETER 6️⃣ 𝗔𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺𝘀, 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 & 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 Who really influences consumer decisions? 👉 Allie Tattersall | Head of Product, OMD EMEA 👉 Ross Appleton | UK General Manager, Tubi 👉 Stephanie Thomas, MSc | Head of Retail & Experience, VCCP 👉 Esme Robinson | VP Platforms & Solutions, Epsilon 7️⃣ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻?
