  • After more than 14 years with Scottish Ballet, Rimbaud Patron will be leaving us at the end of tonight’s Emergence tour to focus on and further develop his already successful photography business. Throughout his performing career, Rimbaud has excelled in a wide range of our productions, performing works by choreographers including Matthew Bourne, Crystal Pite, Angelin Preljocaj, Kenneth MacMillan, David Dawson and Helen Pickett, to name just a few. Over the years, he has also played an integral role in the creative process for many emerging choreographers, consistently bringing incredible characters and performances to life. His reliability, supportive approach and unwavering commitment to the art form have inspired countless colleagues throughout his career. Off-stage, we’ve watched him build a career in photography capturing special moments whilst building a life in Scotland with his family that we all adore (special shout out to wifey, fellow dancer Claire Patron and their little love Olive). It’s more 'à bientôt’ rather than au revoir, as Rimbaud will continue his work with Scottish Ballet as Artist in Residence, photographing productions and rehearsals. Please join us in wishing Rimbaud every success as he embarks on this exciting next chapter with his photography business.
