We advised Gresham House Ventures on a £6 million secondary investment in Veremark, as lead investor in a £6.5 million share sale on the London Stock Exchange’s Private Securities Market. The deal is one of the UK’s first transactions completed under the PISCES framework. Led by partners Alastair Peet and Geoff Dragon, our team advised on the investment structure, governance arrangements and the shareholder, regulatory and operational considerations raised by this emerging market. WST is a leading Chinese advanced-materials manufacturer, with world-class capabilities in superconducting materials and high-performance titanium alloys. Its superconducting technologies are used in demanding applications including MRI, NMR, fusion and scientific research. We are incredibly proud to support WST on this journey – from corporate structuring, real estate and government funding, through to employment and commercial contracts – helping turn an ambitious cross-border investment into a UK operation. What makes this milestone particularly meaningful is that it is not simply an international expansion: it is bringing advanced manufacturing, technology and new jobs into Northern Ireland.
