"5th Beatle" Billy Preston dead at 59
Billy Preston, the only artist ever to share billing on a record with The Beatles, died on Tuesday, June 6th. Preston had several hit singles and also played with Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones, Little Richard, Neil Diamond, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Mavis Staples, John Lennon and George Harrison, among others. He also co-wrote the Joe Cocker hit, "You Are So Beautiful." Preston was also active in television and was in the house band on Shindig in the mid-60s and was the very first musical guest on Saturday Night Live in the mid-70s. In addition, he appeared in such films as Blues Brothers 2000, the Concert for Bangla Desh and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

There is an incredible wealth of content here that we encourage you to
explore!
Jimmy Vivino may be better known to most people as the guitarist from Late Night With Conan O'Brien's house band, The Max Weinberg 7. To us he is The JimmyMan, aka Joey Vino: A talented guitarist, musician and a consummate bluesman.
This website, is a dedication to Jimmy from his fans, The Sons & Daughters Of Paramus, and is full of useful and interesting information for Jimmy Vivino fans, including an excellent BIOGRAPHY, a list of UPCOMING DATES where you can experience the pleasure of seeing Jimmy play live yourself, a DISCOGRAPHY of albums and collaborations he has worked on, and much, much more.... And be sure to explore the site, because there are many pages that aren't included in the menus, such as Jerry Vivino's page and a page dedicated to Jerry's latest band, Steaks and Chops.
The Sons & Daughters Of Paramus... Class of '97, are a dedicated group of new-Jimmy converts who converge together to discuss the music of Jimmy Vivino and the blues, to learn and to have fun together.
The Sons & Daughters Of Paramus would like to acknowledge and thank our special friends Kell, Marty, Dizza, Mike, Joan, Lisa, Sally, Abby, Kathy, Johnny, Mr. Digby Dave, Jeff, Kevin, Butch, JR, Al, and Ken for all their help and support! Special thanks to Ken for giving us the name that really fits us (made even funnier because none of us are from Paramus!)
Most of all we would like to say THANK YOU to Jimmy Vivino. Jimmy, it's a simple statement but this comes from our hearts: THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC!!! From Your Fans, The Sons & Daughters of Paramus Est. 1997.
