We're grateful to our teams and local partners for their continued dedication, collaboration and commitment to patient care. We're proud to announce that our Air Evac Lifeteam 165 - Grove, OK base is the first Air Evac Lifeteam base in Oklahoma to carry whole blood aboard its aircraft, expanding the advanced care we provide when seconds matter most. Building our existing capabilities of carrying packed red blood cells and plasma, whole blood provides our teams with another treatment option for patients experiencing severe blood loss, particularly within rural communities. We thank our partners at Our Blood Institute and Saint Francis Health System for their collaboration in making this advancement possible. 21 years ago, the GMR Employee Foundation was created to help our team members in their greatest times of need by providing financial assistance following catastrophic events such as property losses, death of an employee or family member or supporting those unable to work due to debilitating illnesses.
