Individual and Family Services

All Kings supports mental health & leadership development for justice-impacted men & at-risk young men.

About us

We create diverse and intergenerational communities of men to support and empower men impacted by the criminal justice system and young men at risk of being impacted. We believe the greatest challenge facing all men is a disconnection from himself and from others. To address the wounds of isolation and oppression, we create communities of authentic men — a brotherhood of different ages, ethnicities, orientations, and economic backgrounds. Through weekend trainings, weekly circles, and peer mentorship, we work to inspire each other and grow, and build lives of integrity and purpose.

The 2027 New York State Budget includes support for SUNY’s Office of Higher Education in Prison, marking a major step forward in sustaining and expanding access to higher education in prison progrms across the state!🥳 This investment reflects the power of education to expand opportunity and strengthen communities. We’re grateful to Governor Hochul, state legislators, and our campus and community partners whose support made this possible.💙 New York now joins a growing national movement recognizing higher education in prison as a pathway to equity and opportunity for all. We look forward to building on this momentum together!🤩

We are deepening what leadership and facilitation can look like, through training sessions offered to initiated All Kings members who are interested in taking their own and communal healing to the next stage. For the month of June, we have 3 programs each developed with the intention to empower men using the skills and tools they already have within themselves. ① Carpet Work Cycle →June 17th - Aug 19th (8 Week Program) ② Facilitation 101 sessions hosted by Javon Lomax →June 12th & 19th ③ Credible Facilitator Training (CFT) →June 8th - July 19th (6 Week Program) With these ongoing programs we hope to continue the expansion of shared healing spaces throughout NYC, addressing the needs for deeper community, accessible mental health resources, and leadership development. All training sessions are reserved for initiated All Kings members ONLY. (Initiated Kings have been to a Quest Retreat - City or Nature Quest). Head to allkings.org to learn more about our work.

This morning, we held the kickoff of our second cohort of the Teaching Forward Fellowship!🥳 Rooted in the belief that when we open doors, build networks and invest in professional development, our alumni thrive, this fellowship advances SUNY’s commitment to workforce development by creating paid internship opportunities for justice-impacted individuals as they transition into meaningful careers. Congratulations to this incredible cohort spanning New York State! We’re so proud of the work you’ve already done and can’t wait to see all you accomplish this semester.💙 Be sure to check back each Friday for our Fellowship Fridays series, where we’ll highlight fellows and host sites from both our inaugural cohort and our new statewide cohort all semester long!🤩

  • All Kings is honored to be selected as a 2025 grantee of the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, joining hundreds of organizations statewide working to advance health equity across New York. This support strengthens our work creating healing spaces that foster the emotional health and leadership of men impacted by incarceration, violence, and systemic harm. We are grateful for Cabrini’s investment in community-based approaches that promote well-being in communities most affected by inequity. • The All Kings Model: ⚜️Quest Retreats: Each man is initiated into the community through a “rites of passage” retreat— an intensive weekend that introduces men to our values, our community, and the basics of emotional awareness. ⚜️”Work” Circles: Weekly circles help men integrate new awareness and ways of being. Our circles allow for on-going support and connection. These circles support men in addressing emotional challenges as they arrive. ⚜️Peer-led Mentorship: New men receive 1-on-1 peer coaching, available in person and by phone. We use advancements in personal development to help men achieve their goals. ⚜️Leadership Training: Men in the community are trained as credible facilitators to lead our circles and retreats. Our leadership model prioritizes integrity, vulnerability, and accountability. #allkings #menswork #prisonreform #untilweareallfree

  • Thank you for an unforgettable 2025 All Kings Gala! Your generosity is the engine behind our mission. Here’s a peek at the powerful work you’re supporting: Sponsor a Quest attendee: Your gift can fund a life-changing, 3-day retreat where men begin a profound journey from pain to purpose. Sustain Healing in Circles: It supports trauma-informed groups where men continue their growth, building on the foundations of the Quest. Build Peer Leaders: It fuels our leadership pipeline, training men to guide others in their communities. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. You are helping to heal men who, in turn, are transforming their families, neighborhoods and community.

  • To really appreciate the work that we do, we invite you to participate. All Kings builds peer-led healing networks that support emotional well-being and leadership in NYC communities most impacted by poverty, violence, and incarceration. Though that is our focus, all men are welcome because, though our circumstances and experiences may differ, we share the same emotions. Want to get involved? Sign up for our next Quest, donate to help keep this powerful work alive, or, if you're in the NYC area, join us for our annual All Kings Gala this Thursday. We will keep doing this work “until we are all free,” physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. https://lnkd.in/e26gHjqW

"The work in nature is spiritual.” - 🌿 David, AK Leader Last month at #NatureQuest, as we connected with other men committed to personal growth and criminal justice reform, we also experienced the depth/peace of nature, deepened our bonds in brotherhood, and learned core principles necessary to clarify our purpose. While this experience is powerful in nature, integrating the tools learned back into our families and neighborhoods is just as important. If you missed the Nature Quest, you can still be a part of the transformational event next month. Join us Saturday, November 15 (9am - 8pm) & Sunday, November 16 (9am - 6pm) for the All Kings City Quest in NYC 🗽 Register and learn more about our New York City Quest here: https://lnkd.in/eaUydMaX

  • We are excited to announce a four-part circle and skills-building journey for men in leadership positions seeking deeper connection, emotional mastery, and grounded leadership—in family, friendship, and life. At All Kings, we know that healing doesn’t happen in isolation. Whether you’ve led a company or worked hard to make ends meet, the core wounds many men carry look the same: the fear of vulnerability, the weight of performance, the longing for connection, and the desire to lead from a deeper place. This series is a space for men of leadership to step into the work. To build concrete, embodied skills in emotional communication, presence, and relational leadership. Consider joining us from October 27th - November 17th, Monday evenings 7pm EST. Want to learn more about All Kings and the work we do? Head to our website: https://www.allkings.org/
