Exciting news today! We're thrilled to announce Allyant has acquired Braille Works, a trusted provider of accessible alternative format communications for more than 30 years.  From our CEO Ariel Kunar, " We're honored to build on that legacy while expanding our ability to help organizations deliver accessible communications with greater expertise, capacity, and confidence.” This acquisition strengthens our ability to help more organizations deliver accessible communications in the formats people need—when they need them. Learn more about today’s announcement: https://lnkd.in/gwdj-W_5.

    • Allyant has acquired Braille Works. Deeper expertise, expanded capabilities, greater impact for the people and organization we serve.
  • For years, organizations have often approached accessibility one asset at a time: A website audit here, a remediated PDF there, an alternative format communication request when needed. And they’ve had to engage with different solution providers for each.  But accessibility is an enterprise-wide responsibility that spans every team, every communication, and every customer touchpoint. That's why we believe the future belongs to providers that can help customers think beyond point solutions and build accessibility into every communication they create. In our latest blog, our CRO Daniel Sullivan explores why this shift is happening, and why our acquisition of Braille Works reflects our broader vision for the future of accessible communications. Howdy folks! I'm speaking at M-Enabling Summit this year, and I could not be more excited about the topic: procurement accessibility. We talk a lot about accessibility through the lens of websites, documents, physical spaces, policy, and accommodations. Procurement rarely gets the same attention, and I think that's a mistake. If your organization builds a habit of checking accessibility before a contract gets signed, rather than after a product is already embedded in your workflows, you save yourself an enormous amount of downstream pain. A platform that was never accessible to begin with is brutal to patch into compliance after the fact. Here's my honest take after years doing this work: if you could only pick one piece of the accessibility puzzle to focus on, procurement might be the one that pays the most dividends. Get accessible technology in the door, and you're already ahead on the web, document, and accommodation fronts that come after it. My session, "Accessible Technology & Procurement: Building a Stronger, More Inclusive Digital Ecosystem," walks through a six step framework built to work for organizations of any size or capacity, so procuring accessible technology isn't something only the teams with a dedicated accessibility budget can pull off. If you'll be at the Summit, come find me at the Allyant booth. If you'd like to set up a one-on-one conversation while we're there, send me a message and we'll get it on the calendar. #Accessibility #A11y #mEnabling26 #ProcurementAccessibility #DigitalTransformation
