🚨 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝘆𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘀 Today, the UK Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner and Tonia Antoniazzi MP , Chair of the APPG on Commercial Sexual Exploitation, have written to the 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 calling for an inquiry into 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 linked to OnlyFans. The call follows concerns raised by the BBC documentary 𝘖𝘯𝘭𝘺𝘍𝘢𝘯𝘴: 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦, which uncovered allegations of 𝗰𝗼𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹, 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 linked to some third-party agencies operating around the platform. 𝗔𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼. This is not about lawful content creation or consensual adult activity. It is about ensuring that where exploitation, coercion, trafficking or abuse may be occurring, there are 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 in place to 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁.
