A lot of the work that keeps Sonoma County running smoothly happens before most people ever notice it. It’s preparing for a winter storm before the rain starts. Spotting a problem facing survivors of domestic violence – and helping turn a local solution into state law. Working with residents on decisions that will help shape how Sonoma County grows in the decades ahead. That’s some of the work featured in the new SoCo Correspondent, the County’s twice-monthly newsletter. Today’s edition also takes readers to Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport (STS), where Delta Air Lines launched new service this week, and looks at changes by Permit Sonoma that open new possibilities for housing in unincorporated Sonoma County. For people who already work with the County, it’s a window into what’s happening across the organization. For people who might want to work here, it’s a glimpse at the kinds of problems you could spend your career helping solve.
