DTO Partner Katie Burghardt Kramer recently participated in the American Bar Association International Law Section Fall Conference in London as Program Co-Chair and speaker for "Keeping it Classy: Transatlantic Trends and the Future of Collective Redress." The panel brought together practitioners from the U.S., U.K., and Europe to discuss developments in class actions and collective redress, including evolving case law, funding issues, procedural challenges, and settlement trends across jurisdictions. Beyond the panel, Katie enjoyed catching up with colleagues and making new connections while in London.

This year’s attorney retreat in Ojai gave us the chance to trade conference rooms for mountain views and packed calendars for quality time. 😎⛰️ Between learning sessions, exploring the town, and horseback riding adventures, we were reminded that strong teams are built both inside and outside the workplace. Already looking forward to the next one!

"Rather than overcoming imposter syndrome, try leaning into it." In her new Bloomberg Law article, Ellen reflects on how her understanding of imposter syndrome has changed throughout her career. What began as a belief that it was a negative trait largely associated with women evolved into a more nuanced perspective: that feelings of self-doubt can affect anyone, regardless of title or experience, and may actually coexist with the qualities that drive professional growth and leadership. Read the full article in comments to learn why imposter syndrome may not be the liability you think it is and for practical tips on how to manage it to your advantage.
