This initiative expands and optimizes intermodal transportation networks, improving infrastructure and operational efficiency to move freight more efficiently while reducing carbon emissions. By lowering the carbon intensity of cargo movement across rail, road, and shipping networks, the project helps create a more sustainable supply chain that supports the growth of AI infrastructure. Offset AI x We Are Neutral are supporting environmental restoration to mitigate the impacts of AI infrastructure. One of the projects supported through our offsets is the Francis Beidler IFM Project. This initiative supports the long-term stewardship of the Francis Beidler Forest, ensuring trees remain standing and continue growing through sustainable forest management and a permanent conservation easement that prohibits commercial development and future timber harvests. By protecting mature forest ecosystems and maintaining long-term carbon storage, the project helps preserve biodiversity while supporting climate goals tied to growing AI infrastructure.
