So inspired by Clarity Pediatrics' progress towards closing the chronic care gap for kids...and their parents. Best-in-class care in days vs. months. No enduring traffic and commutes to get to appointments, juggling one specialist for care and another for med management, managing it all across multiple conditions. 10,000 families have relied on Clarity just in the last 2 years to treat one or more of their kids impacted by ADHD, Anxiety, or Obesity, or all of the above -- all covered by insurance, Medicaid, or lowest cash pay rates in the US. 90%+ report Clarity driving symptom improvement, better behavior and a "large positive impact on their lives." You treat the kid, you care for the whole family. Congrats to Christina LaMontagne Alesandro Larrazabal, M.D. Laura Artigas Lauren Meyer James Hur Jake Powell and Erin Schoenfelder Gonzalez, Ph.D. on these incredible results! Next stop, 100,000 families!

91% of families said Clarity had a large impact on their lives. That’s my favorite finding from our first Clarity Pediatrics Clinical Outcomes Report. 💛 Just about five years ago, Alesandro Larrazabal, M.D. and I set out to build a chronic care system for children and their families, starting with ADHD. Today, we’re sharing results across more than 10,000 pediatric with ADHD: 🏥 92% of families reported improvements in behavior 🏥 42% reduction in ODD ADHD symptoms with combination care  🏥 80% average group attendance in ADHD BPT program 🏥 79 HEDIS score for 30-day ADHD prescription follow up - compared to 43 nationwide As our patient population grows across many more conditions, we are building a longitudinal, real-world dataset that allows us to move beyond what works on average and better understand which treatment pathways work best for which children and families. Congratulations Alesandro Larrazabal, M.D. Alejandra V. Alicia Eggen, LMFT Jill Roth Kyleigh Klein, MA, LPCC and the whole clinical team! >>>> Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/dxrXHpZ2 (Post 1 of 3)

  • 31 million LGBTQ+ Americans. 2x the rates of anxiety and depression. And a healthcare system that’s barely shown up for them — until now. 🌈 We are so excited to be leading Allswell's $7M round to build the first medical home for the LGBTQ+ community. Read more below on why we couldn’t be more thrilled to back their critical work. Congrats Dawn Androphy, Connor Gordon and team! https://lnkd.in/p/gxNYwsyK

Did you now 85% of parents want AI (especially AI safety) taught in schools? Regardless of your views on AI, it’s clear that schools can’t ignore it. The question is how we bring AI into classrooms in a way that is safe, responsible, actually helps students learn, and makes educators’ jobs easier, not harder. That’s one of the many reasons I’m so excited about what Nectir (led by Kavitta Ghai and Jordan Long) is building: giving schools, teachers/professors, students, and parents a way to embrace AI without sacrificing trust or safety. If you’re an educator—or a parent wondering how your child’s school is approaching AI—LMK, and I can connect you with a great resource. ❓❓❓❓ Do you want AI taught in schools?

October holds more mental health observances than any other month, including National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month and World Mental Health Day on October 10th. This week is Mental Illness Awareness Week, established by Congress in 1990 and the longest-running of the three. Mental illness covers a range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD, each with a different presentation and a different course of treatment. For women, prevalence shifts by life stage. An estimated 40% of women navigating fertility challenges experience anxiety or depression. Nearly 1 in 5 experience a mental health condition during pregnancy. In perimenopause, that number climbs back to roughly 40%. Care models built around a single diagnosis or a single life stage miss most of this picture. Seven Starling was built around the full arc instead, matching women to specialized psychiatric and therapeutic support through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, early parenthood, perimenopause, and menopause.

Our new, AI-native Benefits-Aware Financial Guidance solution connects employers' benefits to workers' financial goals — at scale, and with comprehensive capabilities that meet employees at every life stage. It's built on a simple belief: financial guidance shouldn't be reserved for the wealthy. As Candidly CEO and Founder Laurel Taylor shared in recent coverage by PLANSPONSOR, "The overall wealth management industry is primarily serving [high-net-worth individuals], but Candidly believes that wealth isn't just for the wealthy. Taking advantage of the benefits an employer already offers is a critical part of the financial constitution within a household."

  • Program Pathways Mapper was on the national stage at the AI for Economic Opportunity Demo Day in Washington, D.C. Hosted by the GitLab Foundation and OpenAI, Demo Day brought together organizations exploring how AI can address real economic challenges. FoundationCCC was there to share how PPM and MapperGPT can help California community college students better navigate academic, transfer, and career pathways. MapperGPT grew from a vision advanced through the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, led by Craig Hayward, Vice Chancellor of AI Strategy and Digital Transformation, who engaged teams at San Francisco State University and Merced College to bring the idea to life. Students helped build the initial prototype, creating a tool for students, by students. Nectir is now serving as the implementation partner, helping move MapperGPT from prototype to production so it can become available to students directly within Program Pathways Mapper. In the Demo Day recap video, Shirley Asher, Senior Director, Technology Solutions and Special Projects, Foundation for California Community Colleges and PPM alongside leaders from across the cohort, sharing how this work is expanding access to clearer, more connected information for students. PPM already helps students turn complex curriculum into clear, faculty-informed pathways. MapperGPT builds on that foundation by giving students another way to ask questions, explore options, and better understand where their choices can lead. We talk a lot about whether special education services can be delivered virtually. But maybe the better question is: What does great instruction actually look like, regardless of where it happens? That question is at the heart of our newest white paper on Virtual Specially Designed Instruction (SDI). SDI isn’t defined by a classroom, a computer screen, or a certain number of service minutes. It’s defined by what has been specially designed for an individual student — and whether that instruction is helping them make meaningful progress. One story in the paper brings this to life. A third-grade student began virtual SDI reading in the low 20s words per minute. Her teacher learned what was getting in the way, built instruction around her IEP goals, found ways to connect learning to what she loved, and adjusted along the way. About 70 sessions later, she was reading more than 135 words per minute — exceeding grade-level expectations. Her story is a powerful reminder that engagement and academic growth aren’t separate. When students want to show up, participate, take risks, and keep trying, learning follows. Our new white paper, Virtual Specially Designed Instruction, authored by A. Jordan Wright, PhD, ABPA, ABPP and Dr. Amber Izrael, Ed.D explores how we can intentionally create those conditions for students. Read it here: https://lnkd.in/gKhS-GUE

🤫 What if we’re thinking about the “human in the loop” backward? In hardware engineering, the goal shouldn’t be to keep a human somewhere inside an AI-controlled process. Maybe we need to flip the loop and put AI inside a process that engineers still control. That idea is explored in my conversation with Valentina RatnerRatner, co-founder and CEO of AllSpice.io Valentina offers a well-informed and clear way to divide the work logically: • Jobs for AI agents • Jobs for deterministic automation • Jobs that must remain human AI can review hundreds of pages of data sheets, surface issues an engineer may NOT have thought to check, and reduce repetitive manual work. But architecture, critical thinking, engineering judgment, and final approval? Those remain with the human engineer. AI is here, and already changing hardware engineering. The important question is no longer if or when we'll adopt it. The question is how. This episode offers a nuanced, thoughtful answer. https://lnkd.in/gizeisqa. #electricalengineering #PCBDesign #hardwaredesign #AITechnology
