SCCS offers comprehensive Mental Health services for individuals ages 0–100, providing therapy, care coordination, early psychosis support, Medication Support Services, crisis intervention, and more. Our clinicians use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches to help individuals and families manage symptoms, build coping skills, and improve long-term emotional wellness. We treat: ADHD, Anger, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Psychosis, Eating Disorders, Grief, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Self-Harm, and Suicidal Ideation. Located in Orange and San Bernardino counties, the Mental Health Department at SCCS is comprised of an outstanding group of mental health professionals. The professional staff at SCCS provide an opportunity for healing for, adults children, and families. I am resharing my post from last week as the job description is now posted and I attach below: I am looking for a new Controller to join my team at South Coast Community Services – and I am hoping my network can help me find the right person. We are growing significantly. As we grow, we are modernizing our systems, processes, reporting and analytics and continuing to build out the Finance organization. I am looking for a strong, hands-on accounting leader who will own our accounting and reporting function, develop the team and work closely with me as a partner to the broader organization. Being close to the work is important. I want someone who is curious, willing to get into the details, takes ownership and wants to make things better – not simply manage what already exists. Having your CPA is required and prior public accounting experience is strongly preferred. This role is based in Orange County, California, and will be in the office at least three days a week. Working alongside the team is important to me. I think this is a great next step for a strong accounting leader who wants to grow with the organization. You will be joining a great team, have broad exposure across the business and have the opportunity to learn, develop and help build what Finance looks like as we continue to scale. Most importantly, I would really like to find this person through my network. If you have worked directly with someone you think is excellent and would personally recommend, I would greatly appreciate an introduction.
