Treble One would like to thank the AFWERX SBIR/STTR Team for taking the time to meet with our team to discuss the evolving direction of the Air Force SBIR/STTR program. We appreciated the opportunity to learn more about AFWERX reorganization, the future of the SBIR/STTR program, the evolution of TACFI and STRATFI, and how both government and industry can best position themselves for success moving forward. Meetings like these are invaluable. They enable Treble One to stay ahead of program changes, better understand emerging priorities, and provide our clients with current, actionable insights that help them navigate the Air Force innovation ecosystem more effectively. It's wild to think 25 years ago I was a 17-year-old kid signing on the dotted line with ROTC—a milestone that required my mom to co-sign because I wasn’t even a legal adult yet. Looking back on that day, I never could have fully anticipated the incredible journey, challenges, and growth that would follow over the next two and a half decades. As I officially retired from Active Duty at the end of May, my overwhelming sentiment is gratitude. To the incredible folks I've had the privilege to serve alongside from start to finish: you are the reason this journey was worth every single moment. Your dedication, resilience, and camaraderie shaped me not just as an Officer, but as a person. To my family: thank you for being my unwavering foundation. Your endless support, sacrifices, and love enabled me to serve our nation every day. This milestone belongs to you just as much as it does to me. While one chapter is closing, I'm incredibly excited for the next. I look forward to continuing to serve—just in a different capacity. In this next venture, my focus is on helping innovative companies bridge the gap between groundbreaking technology and the mission, ensuring the best tools get exactly where they need to be: in the hands of those in the field. We're thrilled and honored that Col Alexander Hausman has accepted a position as Senior Consultant at Treble One! "Bruw" will be starting this summer after end a highly distinguished career in the USAF. He and his family will be staying in the Hill AFB, UT area. His accomplishments are incredible - Big Safari, F-35 Flight Test, SOCOM "Ghost", F-16 Rapid Modernization, Hypersonic Testing, and NAF-level classified programs. His qualifications and attitude are off the charts - embodying the "best of the best" type candidate we look for. Can't wait for Bruw to join the rest of our exceptional team! SkyfireAI has closed an $11M seed round to accelerate autonomous, multi-ship drone operations. This is where the mission is heading. The constraint in today’s UxS environment isn’t access to hardware. It’s the ability to deploy, coordinate, and scale effects in real-world conditions. The CRP DefenseTech Accelerator has officially launched its third cohort—bringing together five cutting-edge startups focused on advancing defense and aerospace technology.
