We are saddened to share the passing of Judge William Corrigan, Sr. Judge Corrigan served on the USA&M Mediator and Senior Arbitrator panels for nearly 24 years following his retirement from the St. Louis County Circuit Bench. He was a memorable presence in the legal community—admired for his character, his wisdom, and his well-known “Corrigan Mediation Rule”: “In the morning, I’m the messenger boy, but after lunch, I’m the delivery man.” His contributions, humor, and dedication will be greatly missed. May his memory be a blessing.

Mason is a mediator and arbitrator who served as a circuit judge in Missouri’s 22nd Judicial Circuit from 1991 until his retirement in May 2025, making him the longest-serving judge in the St. Louis Circuit Court at the time of his departure. A Nashville native, David was appointed to the bench in August 1991 and retained by voters in six consecutive elections.
