Constantly in awe of the dedication and determination you bring to driving real change for youth mental health! Mind Out Loud is beyond proud to have you as a student leader, Isabelle Do! 👏

Earlier this fall, I was honored to be invited to represent Mind Out Loud as a Lighthouse Speaker at Wellness Together’s 10th Annual Conference. I am so grateful to share my work and discuss the importance of prioritizing youth mental health and amplifying young people’s voices. It was a privilege to connect and network with advocates and professionals who share a passion for improving mental health access and well-being. Thank you to Wellness Together for bringing together such an inspiring community and making this experience possible! #MindOutLoud #WellnessTogether #YouthMentalHealth #MentalHealthAdvocacy

  • Today is World Mental Health Day. 💚This year’s theme is “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change.” It’s a call to move beyond simply listening to people with lived experiences and toward giving them meaningful opportunities to shape the policies, services, and systems that affect their lives. At Wellness Together, we believe that young people deserve that same opportunity. Their experiences matter. Their perspectives matter. Their voice belongs in the conversations shaping the future of mental health support. Today, and every day, let’s keep building systems with the people they’re designed to serve. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealth #StudentMentalHealth #SchoolMentalHealth

  • Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day. 💚 This year’s theme, “Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change,” is an important reminder that listening is only the beginning. Creating better systems means making space for the people those systems serve to help shape them. For us, that includes making sure young people aren’t simply part of the conversation about their mental health, they have a voice within it. Through Mind Out Loud, we work to amplify youth voices and create meaningful opportunities for young people to connect, share their experiences, and help shape conversations around mental health. From our annual virtual event to our year-long student rep program, Mind Out Loud gives students a platform to speak up, connect with their peers, and remind us of something important: When it comes to youth mental health, young people deserve a seat at the table. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MindOutLoud #YouthMentalHealth #StudentVoice #WellnessTogether

As World Mental Health Day approaches on October 10, we're reflecting on a message that resonated across the 10th Annual Wellness Together Youth Mental Health Conference, presented by Blue Shield of California: "You belong here."   That message echoed throughout the gathering of educators, healthcare leaders, policymakers, and advocates committed to improving youth mental health outcomes across California.   We're grateful to the inspiring leaders who helped bring that message to life, including Mental Health Innovator Award recipients Mychal Threets and California State Senator and physician Dr. Akilah Weber Pierson, who reminded us that vulnerability, connection, advocacy, and access all play critical roles in supporting young people.   Thank you to Jeremiah Aja, M.A., M.Div., LPCC, Jenny Day, Dr. Lisa Damour, PhD, Anna Malaika Tubbs, and Dr. Fabiola Bagula, Ph.D. for sharing your expertise and passion for creating environments where young people feel safe, seen, and supported.   Special thanks to our own Hope Scott, Dr. Nicole Stelter, Valerie Martinez, Perry Chen, and the many Wellness Together and Blue Shield team members who helped make this such an impactful conference. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gKAEVwxY     Through our BlueSky youth mental health initiative and our longstanding partnership with Wellness Together, we're proud to help expand access to mental health resources, strengthen support systems, and advance youth-led advocacy across California.   On World Mental Health Day and every day, let's continue working together so every young person knows they are valued, supported, and that they belong.   #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthAwareness #YouthMentalHealth #WellnessTogether #BlueSky #MentalHealthMatters #CommunityHealth #BlueShieldOfCalifornia

Mending Matters is incredibly proud to announce a new grant from the San Diego Foundation to expand our school-based mental health services AND launch our Wellness Coach Workforce Development Initiative. Here is what this investment means for our community:  ✅ More direct student care: Expanding on-campus mental health support and wellness activities for San Diego youth.  ✅ Building the future workforce: Creating new training and career pathways for emerging behavioral health professionals (Certified Wellness Coaches).  ✅ Stronger collaboration: Partnering with Wellness Together to ensure our coaches receive top-tier, structured support as they build their careers. As our Clinical Operations Director, Audrey Fabre, LCSW, shared: "This support helps us expand meaningful, in-person care in schools while creating practical training and career opportunities for emerging professionals who want to serve young people." • #WTC10 may be over, but the work continues. 💚 The conversations, ideas, and connections we shared in San Diego were never meant to stay within the conference walls. We’re carrying that energy forward into school communities across the country, working alongside educators, mental health professionals, students, and leaders to build stronger systems of support for the next generation. Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared, connected, and helped make our 10th Annual Wellness Together Conference one to remember. • For more than seven years, Blue Shield of California has partnered with Wellness Together to help thousands of students across California receive mental health services at no cost to them or their families. We were honored to welcome their team back to the 10th Annual Wellness Together Conference as a Legacy Impact Partner. Their presence reflected something much bigger than support for a single event: dedication to the well-being of California’s students, families, and school communities. Thank you, Blue Shield of California, for standing with us again this year, and for demonstrating what is possible when committed partners invest in lasting impact. Together, we can ensure more students receive the care they need, regardless of the obstacles in their way. #WellnessTogether #StudentMentalHealth #YouthMentalHealth #WTC10 #CorporateSocialImpact #CommunityPartnership #LegacyImpactPartner #BlueShieldofCA

Hey all, I’m so excited to share this podcast with you. As a father who works in education, media, and the intersection of how those spaces show up in the lives of our kids, this discussion was like a hug. Marlon Morgan and the great team at Wellness Together gave me the opportunity to co-host this special interview with Joseph Gidjunis and Joshua Kagi with Grown Up Dad on PBS. We talked about what it’s like to be a dad right now, but more importantly, we had a lot of laughs and embodied in real time what the show itself hopes for more fathers. Sure, we wanna provide, be strong, and establish a strong foundation for our families, but we can also be emotional, present, and open to our own needs as a person and parent. A lot of great shout outs to my team at Common Sense Media but also to those men, fathers, and educators who have helped to shape everything for me that has brought you to press play! https://lnkd.in/gJpkNrVa
