Fall is in full swing and so is our Blue Brigade Volunteer Group! 💙 Here is how our volunteers have made an impact so far this season ⬇️ 🔹 Nebraska Diaper Bank: Volunteers teamed up with WePact (our Parents and Caregivers Together Associate Resource Group) to wrap 10,590 diapers, directly supporting 175 babies. 🔹 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb: Supported the event where participants climbed 110 stories at Werner Park, carrying and reading aloud the names of fallen heroes at the finish line. 🔹 United Way of the Midlands Day of Caring: Sorted holiday gifts with New Visions Homeless Services to help provide toys for nearly 5,000 individuals. 🔹 Heartland Hope Mission: Assisted with a donation sorting project to help provide food, clothing and essential supplies to local families. 🔹 Special Olympics Flag Football: Staffed the scoring table to keep the tournament running smoothly. 🔹 Heart Heroes Superhero Heart Run: #TeamBlue rallied at Werner Park to support and cheer on local heart heroes and their families.
