Leonardo DRS announced today that its Airborne and Intelligence Systems business unit has been awarded a $39.6 million contract by Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) for the production and delivery of Joint Tactical Terminal Transceiver (JTT-X) units. The firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract includes non-recurring engineering, production, aircraft integration, qualification, and production support for the EA-18G Growler aircraft. Leonardo DRS Strengthens Dismounted Soldier Modernization With $63 Million FWS-I Production Order Leonardo DRS announced today that it has received a $63 million production order from the U.S. Army for its next-generation Family of Weapon Sights – Individual, or FWS-I, thermal weapon sight system. The order was placed under the Army’s existing indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, or IDIQ, contract for advanced, battlefield-proven, thermal weapon sight systems supporting dismounted soldiers.
