A not so gentle reminder to those of you who have been learning a skill since 2024. 😜😂 You've taken the courses. You've watched the YouTube tutorials. You've saved the resources. You've probably joined one or two tech communities. But be honest with yourself: what have you built with everything you've learnt? 👀 Because in this tech space, learning is important, but learning alone is not enough. At some point, you have to move from “I'm learning” to “Look at what I can do.” That means: 📌 Learn skills that solve real problems. 📌 Practise what you've learnt, even when you're not 100% confident. 📌 Build projects that demonstrate your knowledge. 📌 Share your work, get feedback, improve, and keep building. You don't need to know everything before you start. Sometimes, the clarity you're looking for comes from actually doing the work. And please, don't underestimate the power of one small project you completed yourself. It could teach you more than another ten hours of passively consuming tutorials. At Accurvia, we believe in a simple progression: Learn it. Build it. Thrive in it. 🚀 Learn relevant skills. Build with what you've learnt. Thrive in what you've built. Now, let's hear from you. 😂👇🏽 If you've been learning a skill since 2024, come and identify yourself in the comments! Tell us what skill you have been learning. No shame, no competition. Just real people trying to grow and do better. Let's talk! 👇🏽 #TechCareers #TechSkills #CareerGrowth #Upskilling #Accurvia #LinkedinTech

The Future of Learning Is Community-Driven Part 3 (Building Meaningful Connections) A learning community can give you access to information, mentors and people with similar interests, but its real value can go beyond what you learn. It can also be about who you meet along the way. When people learn together, conversations can develop into relationships, shared experiences can create trust, and common goals can bring people together in ways that wouldn't happen through a course or a video alone. These connections can lead to collaboration, new ideas, opportunities to learn from one another and a stronger sense of belonging. And that's important because learning doesn't happen in a vacuum. The people around us can influence the questions we ask, the perspectives we consider and even the opportunities we discover. So perhaps the future of learning isn't simply about having better access to information. It's about creating spaces where people can learn, connect and grow together. Because when learning becomes a shared experience, the possibilities can extend far beyond the lesson itself. #MentifyX #ForexEducation #EdTech #LearningCommunity #Mentorship #Networking

Happy Tuesday at LearnKasts. Today we are talking about Assignments & Assessments. The true measure of learning isn't always what someone can select from a predefined list, like multiple-choice or open-ended questions. Sometimes, it's what they can independently put down. Multiple-choice questions have their place. But they don't capture every learning outcome. A learner may understand the theory, yet still struggle to apply it independently. That is where assignments, projects and practical assessments become valuable. Give the learner a task. Let them submit their work. Assess it against a defined rubric. Provide meaningful feedback. And capture evidence of what they can actually do. Professional institutes and corporate training teams can use assignments, projects and case studies to capture tangible evidence of: • Technical knowledge • Critical thinking • Problem-solving • Application of concepts • Ability to produce independent work With LearnKasts, organisations don't need to split their training ecosystem across multiple tools. Assignments and practical assessments can sit alongside coursework, learner profiles and learning records, giving organisations a more complete view of learner progress and demonstrated capability. Learning isn't only about what someone can answer. It's also about what they can do. #LearnKasts #AssignmentsAndAssessments #LearningAndDevelopment #CorporateTraining #ProfessionalEducation #EdTech

Over the past week, ReNewers employees across ReNew came together to embrace the spirit of continuous learning, curiosity, and growth through Learnathon 2026, our flagship learning initiative powered by LinkedIn Learning. This year's edition went beyond learning hours and course completions. We introduced Role-Based Learning Journeys, covering 86 sub-job families across the organisation. Leveraging LinkedIn Learning's global skills benchmarking insights, we identified critical skills for each role and curated learning pathways across Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced proficiency levels, making learning more personalised and relevant than ever before. The excitement continued with Learning Quests that challenged participants to explore new skills and complete curated learning missions. Quizventure 2026, a multi-stage competition that tested participants' knowledge, speed, and problem-solving abilities through daily quizzes, virtual challenges, and a grand finale. Learnathon 2026 was more than a competition. It was a celebration of our learning culture, our commitment to growth, and our belief that investing in people is the key to building a future-ready organisation. A big thank you to every participant, leader, and supporter who made this journey a success. #Learnathon2026 #ContinuousLearning #LinkedInLearning #FutureReadySkills #ReNewTheFuture

If I Could Start Again… What's One Piece of Advice You'd Give Someone Just Stepping Into the Program? Take responsibility for your own learning, and remember that you're not the only person in the room who came to learn. Most programs have a high attrition rate, and I don't think Tech Crush is an exception. There are several reasons people start a program and don't finish, but one thing I believe can get in the way of learning is entitlement. Sometimes, it shows up in the expectation that tutors should cater to your needs above everyone else's. That you should be spoon-fed everything, even when you haven't taken the time to revisit what's been taught, practise, do your own research, or try to understand it for yourself. And sometimes, it comes from the thought that because you've paid for the program, you should get whatever attention you need, whenever you need it. Of course, you've paid to learn, and you're entitled to the knowledge and support the program promises. But you haven't paid for a private tutor. You've joined a learning environment with other people who have also invested their time, money, and effort into being there. Their time matters, too. The same applies if you already have some experience in the field or find it easier to grasp certain concepts. Being ahead doesn't give you the right to dominate the learning space or make it harder for others to keep up. Your growth shouldn't come at the expense of someone else's. So, if you're just starting out, do your due diligence. Revisit the lessons. Practise what you've learnt. Research. Ask questions when you don't understand something. And when you need help, seek it. But also learn to recognise the difference between taking responsibility for your learning and expecting others to take that responsibility for you. You deserve to learn. So does everyone else. Learn to advocate for yourself without making everything about yourself. That's the advice I'd give someone starting again. #TechCrush #Learning #PersonalGrowth #Tech4Africans #TechCrushscholars #TechCrushgraduation

If I Could Start Again… 🚀💻 If I could start this program all over again, one piece of advice I would give myself and anyone just starting is this: Don't just focus on completing the course; focus on becoming the person who can solve real problems with the knowledge you gain. 💯 Ask questions, participate actively, learn from your mistakes, connect with people, and most importantly, stay consistent even when it gets difficult. There will be moments when you feel overwhelmed, but remember that growth takes time. Don't compare your progress with anyone else's. Keep showing up, keep learning, and trust the process. Today, I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and become better. The journey doesn't end at graduation; it's only the beginning! 🎯🚀 #Tech4Africans #TechCrushscholars #TechCrushgraduation

One of the biggest barriers to training isn’t always time. Sometimes, it’s fear. At eInstitute, we speak to people every day who are nervous about returning to study. “It’s been years since I studied.” “What if I don’t understand the assessments?” “How will I fit this around work and family?” “What if I start and can’t finish?” These concerns are more common than people realise. That’s why we believe great training is about so much more than providing course content and assessments. It’s about supporting the person behind the qualification. Our students have access to dedicated trainers, regular support and check ins, flexible learning options and practical training that connects directly to their workplace. If someone is struggling, we want them to reach out. Sometimes a conversation, some extra guidance or breaking an assessment into smaller, manageable steps can make all the difference. We love seeing students move from: “I don’t know if I can do this.” to “I did it.” Because completing a qualification isn't just about gaining new skills or receiving a certificate. It can also be about building confidence, recognising your own capability and realising what you’re capable of achieving next. From fear to future. We’ll support you every step of the way. #eInstitute #StudentSupport #ProfessionalDevelopment #LifelongLearning #Training

💜 HE STARTED LEARNING SOMETHING “UNRELATED” THEN IT CHANGED HIS PERSPECTIVE. A student once decided to learn a digital skill simply because he was curious. It had nothing to do with his department. At first, his friends wondered why he was spending time on something outside his course. But he kept learning. One lesson became another. Practice became confidence. And eventually, he began seeing opportunities he hadn’t noticed before. That story reminds me of something important: Your course of study does not have to define the limits of your learning. The world is changing quickly, and students have more reasons than ever to develop skills beyond their academic programmes. • Maybe you study Accounting but want to learn digital marketing. • Maybe you study Engineering but want to understand entrepreneurship. • Maybe you study Education but want to explore technology. That’s part of the thinking behind SOLT LMS within SoltConnect. SOLT LMS is designed to help students learn, upskill and pursue certification while exploring knowledge and skills beyond the traditional classroom. Because sometimes, the skill you learn out of curiosity today becomes the opportunity you pursue tomorrow. 🚀 The lesson? Don’t be afraid to learn something simply because it interests you. Your curiosity might be pointing you toward a future you haven’t imagined yet. What skill would you learn if you could choose anything outside your course? 👇🏽 📚 SOLT LMS LEARN. UPSKILL.
