Smartwatches are great, but a sleek ring that tracks your health and wellness? That’s even cooler. Oura Rings are some of our favorite smart rings, and for good reason. These pack plenty of health features into a slim design that’s also really comfortable to wear.

Right now, you can save up to $120 on the previous-generation Oura Ring 4 if you buy directly from Oura’s website. The gold version, which normally retails for $399, is now available for $279. Stealth and Silver are sitting at $244, instead of the usual $349.

If you already know your Oura Ring size, you can go ahead and pick the finish you like. A bit unsure? Oura can send you a free sizing kit first to help you find the right fit.

The Oura Ring 4 brings the same software updates as the Oura Ring 5, so even though it’s a generation old, you’re not missing out on all that much. You still get plenty of useful health features, along with personalized insights into sleep, activity, stress, metabolic health, heart health, and more.

It’s water-resistant up to 100 meters, which means you don’t always have to take it off before jumping into the pool or taking a shower. An Oura subscription unlocks its full potential, but you can still use the core features without one.

ZDNET health and wearables editor Nina Raemont tested the Ring 4 against the latest release and noted that if you’re mainly after the health features and aren’t too concerned about the design or getting the longest possible battery life, the older model should serve you just fine (and save you over $100).

How I rated this deal

We saw the gold Oura Ring 4 drop to as low as $259 during June Prime Day this year, while other colors hit their lowest prices of $226. The current discounted prices are pretty close to those all-time lows, even though there’s no major sale going on right now. These deals earn a rating of 4/5 on our system, and at these rates you don’t really have to wait until Black Friday to save big.
