Bringing magnesium production back to the U.S. takes more than a good idea. That's why Big Blue Technologies collaborated with the National Laboratory of the Rockies, using HPE Cray supercomputing to better understand how its process would perform at scale. By modeling what happens inside the smelting process, the team can test scenarios and identify inefficiencies to predict how a commercial-scale facility will perform before breaking ground.
