**You taught them the skills. Now, who is helping them get in front of employers?** Over time, I’ve had the opportunity to assist graduates and students from technical training programs with their job applications after completing their training. These include people trained in: ☁️ Cloud Engineering ⚙️ DevOps 🏗️ Infrastructure Engineering 🌐 Network Engineering 💻 Software Engineering 🖥️ IT & Technical Careers I’ve helped candidates take the skills they learned through boot camps and turn them into **real job applications targeting real opportunities.** And the results have been encouraging. Some candidates have received **multiple offers — 3, 5 and even more opportunities.** Across candidates I’ve supported, the offers secured have represented **significant compensation, including offers contributing to more than $500K in total offer value.** But here’s what I’ve realized: **A boot camp shouldn’t end when the student receives their certificate.** The real question is: 👉 What happens when the training ends? 👉 Who helps the graduate navigate the job market? 👉 Who helps them consistently apply for relevant roles? 👉 Who helps turn technical training into an actual career opportunity? **That’s where I come in.** If you run a **Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, Networking, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or IT boot camp**, I’d love to explore how we can work together to strengthen the career support you provide your students. Your students already have the training. **Let’s build the bridge between their skills and the opportunities waiting for them.** 📩 **Boot camp owners, training providers, and instructors — reach out:** **[rubyotoo16@gmail.com](mailto:rubyotoo16@gmail.com)** **Let’s discuss how we can take your students’ career support to the next level.** #Bootcamp #TechBootcamp #CloudEngineering #DevOps #InfrastructureEngineering #NetworkEngineering #SoftwareEngineering #ITCareers #CareerSupport #TechJobs #JobSearch #CareerDevelopment #Partnership #TechEducation

𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐣𝐨𝐛 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐨𝐛-𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠. A candidate may know the concepts. They may have completed the certification. They may have watched the courses. They may even be able to explain the technology well. But when asked: 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦? That is where the difference begins! Consider a DevOps professional: Knowing what Docker is useful for? It can be answered by anyone who gets ready on it. 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐂𝐈/𝐂𝐃 𝐩𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥. The same principle applies across technology: 𝐀𝐖𝐒 → Can you design or troubleshoot something on it? 𝐒𝐀𝐏 → Can you explain the business process and your contribution to the project? 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 → Can you build and optimise a pipeline? 𝐀𝐈 → Can you apply it to a real business or engineering problem? 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 “𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰?” 𝐭𝐨 “𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰?” That is an important lesson for candidates. 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞. Build something. Solve something. Document something. Improve something. Because the strongest answer to “Do you know this skill?” is not: “Yes, I learned it.” It is: “𝐘𝐞𝐬. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐭.” 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 “𝐣𝐨𝐛-𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲” 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲? #CorexaInfotech #CareerGrowth #TechCareers #ITJobs #TalentAcquisition #Recruitment #TechHiring #SkillsDevelopment #FutureOfWork #JobReadiness #JobSeekers #ITJobSeekers #Freshers

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in IT is that professional growth requires more than finding time to learn. It requires learning how to manage responsibilities, prioritize effectively, and trust the right people with meaningful work. As a hardware refresh project approaches completion, I’ve been balancing project responsibilities with studying for my AWS Developer Associate certification and developing automation workflows for vulnerability management. A major part of that process has been recognizing the strengths and interests of hardworking Tier 1 team members and creating opportunities for them to take ownership of tasks that align with their abilities. Delegation isn’t just about getting work off your plate. It’s about developing people, improving team efficiency, and creating the capacity to focus on more complex technical challenges. I’m grateful to work alongside people who are willing to learn and contribute. Their growth creates opportunities for mine, and that’s something I want to continue building on as I move toward the next steps in my tech career. #InfrastructureAutomation #CloudEngineering #TechnicalLeadership #ITCareer

You’re from a non-IT background. That doesn’t mean you have only one way into IT. One of the first questions people ask when they want to switch to IT is: “What should I learn?” But I think there’s a question that should come before that: “Which IT career path should I explore?” Because IT is much bigger than just software development. Depending on your interests, strengths and willingness to learn, you could explore areas such as: 🧪 Software Testing / QA If you enjoy finding issues, understanding requirements and thinking from a user’s perspective. 📊 Data / Analytics If you enjoy working with numbers, patterns, reports and business insights. 💻 Software Development If you enjoy programming and building applications. ☁️ Cloud / DevOps If you’re interested in infrastructure, deployment, automation and how applications run. 🔐 Cybersecurity If security, systems and identifying risks interest you. 🎧 IT Support / Technical Support If you enjoy troubleshooting problems and helping users resolve technical issues. And there are many other paths too. The important part? You don’t need to learn all of them. You need to understand them first. Then ask: → What does this role actually involve? → What skills does it require? → Does it match my strengths and interests? → What would I need to learn from my current level? → Can I realistically build a job-ready profile for it? Your non-IT degree is your starting point. It doesn’t have to be the end of your career options. In the next few posts, we’ll go one step further: How do you actually decide which IT path is right for YOU? That’s where the real confusion begins. 👀 Follow along. #NonITToIT #CareerSwitch #ITCareer #CareerTransition #TechCareers

A CSSLP from @ISC2 is not just another badge for a resume. It changes how the market reads your profile. For many candidates, the real CSSLP career impact is this: you stop being seen as “someone who knows security” and start being seen as someone who can help build secure software from the inside. That shift matters in interviews, internal promotions, and project staffing. One strong signal: CSSLP salary conversations often move up when the role touches architecture, application security, or secure delivery. Think about the difference it makes for a Senior Software Engineer moving toward AppSec, or a DevSecOps lead expected to influence teams beyond a single codebase. The certification helps position those professionals for CSSLP jobs where security is part of the build process, not an afterthought. Recruiters also notice something simple: candidates with a CSSLP software security certification tend to sound more ready for cross-functional work, not just technical tasks. That’s why CSSLP worth it is less about the acronym and more about the positioning it creates. ExamBoot.net helps candidates prepare more strategically, so the certification path feels deliberate, not random. What kind of role would CSSLP help shape in your own career? #CSSLP #ISC2 #ApplicationSecurity #DevSecOps #CareerGrowth

I realized recently that I've been doing something for free for that I absolutely love doing… Mentoring people! 😂 Throughout my entire career, people have reached out asking for help with breaking into tech, Cloud, DevOps, certifications, interviews, career moves and sometimes just... "What the hell am I supposed to do next?" And if I could help, I'd usually hop on a call. Totally unstructured. Just, "Yeah, let's talk." Over the years, I've watched people I've helped pass certifications, land jobs, transition into tech, and advance in their careers. So I've decided to finally put some structure around something I've already been doing. I'm officially opening up 1:1 Tech Career Strategy and Certification Prep sessions. These are for people trying to figure out things like: Which certification actually makes sense for me? How do I break into Cloud or DevOps? I have certifications. Why am I still not getting interviews? What projects should I be building? What skills am I missing? How do I advance from where I am now? What's the most realistic path from where I am to where I want to be? Or simply... "Iman, I have no idea what I'm doing. Help." 😂 I've personally been there. I've navigated this industry myself, participated in programs and opportunities with Google, AWS, and Epic Games, and earned certifications across AWS, Google Cloud, and CompTIA. But a lot of what I know has also come from helping other people navigate this industry. And that's probably one of the biggest things I've learned: There isn't one perfect roadmap. I'm not here to tell you to copy my path. The whole point is figuring out yours. Sometimes you don't need another course, another certification or another YouTube video. Sometimes you need someone to take the time to sit down with you, look at where you are, understand where you're trying to go and help you figure out what actually makes sense for YOU. So that's what I'm offering. I'm opening a limited number of 1:1 sessions to start. If you want to work with me, you can view the available sessions, details and book a time here: https://lnkd.in/gyvKy3WF Because apparently I've finally learned that I can't keep telling everybody, "Yeah, let's hop on a call." 😂 #womenintech #blackintech #cloudengineer #devopsengineer #mentorship #certifications

🎓 Six career tracks. One week. In every single one, a real, honestly-produced value sat right next to the real answer and reading it instead was the whole mistake. Session 9 of 22. Saturday was the teaching. This is what our students are doing with it - swipe through. 🧠 AI & Machine Learning carried a photo's two extracted features through a tiny classifier's last layer by hand, where a class neuron's raw weighted sum is real but it is not the confidence percentage until one more step turns it into a share of the total. 🗄️ Cloud Computing read a fleet log of nineteen services, where a service genuinely listed in the compose file, or one that's running right now, is still not the same as one anybody outside can actually reach. 🛡️ Cybersecurity Defensive traced one incident across a Linux web server and a Windows domain controller, where a burst of failed logons on either system is real, but only a matching success from that same address, on that same system, confirms a breach. 🔓 Cybersecurity Offensive read a recorded log of session-hijack attempts against a safe playground, where how a token was minted, and what kind of guess was tried, are both real but neither one is proof a session actually got hijacked. 📊 Data & Analytics built a small dashboard on a regional revenue ledger, where an unfiltered total, a tied month, and the plain average of two growth rates are all real numbers and none of them is the one the dashboard actually asked for. 🖥️ Software Engineering audited a weather API's call log, where an app's own shallow pre-check passing is a real, recorded outcome and it is not the same as the service itself accepting the request. Session 8 said one signal needed a second, quieter one to agree before the answer was real. Session 9 turns that toward the table itself: the nearby value was real. It was just never the one being asked for. Every session ends with a lab that produces an answer you can only get by genuinely doing the work, it cannot be guessed. 📅 Twenty-two Saturdays. Six career tracks. 132 labs. 💛 It is free, and it stays free. 🇬🇭 Cohort 1 is under way. If you know a Ghanaian university student sitting on more ability than opportunity, send them our way. 🔗 nextpathghana.org #Ghana #TechEducation #Mentorship #Cybersecurity #DataAnalytics #SoftwareEngineering #AI #CloudComputing #CaptureTheFlag
