Amity Foundation is doing transformative work across Los Angeles, and Seed House Project is so grateful for the leadership and support of Amity's CEO and President, Doug Bond! Last night, I had the privilege of attending Amity's inaugural Speaker Series event, "The Power of Story," in Downtown LA. Hearing Doug speak alongside Shirley Torres (co-CEO of Homeboy Industries) and the inspiring women from Amity’s La Entrada campus was a powerful reminder of how lived experience and storytelling drive healing, equity, and change. Amity’s multi-year commitment to Seed House Project—providing crucial support for our operational growth and housing programs—makes moments like this even more meaningful. Building lasting relationships is essential as we work together to expand housing and support services for youth across our community. Thank you, Doug, and the entire Amity team for an incredible evening and for your ongoing commitment to our mission!

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from Amity Foundation. 💚💛🤎 Hispanic Heritage Month gives us an opportunity to recognize the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities, including the many people who are part of Amity. For many of our students, faculty, alumni, families, and partners, that heritage is part of everyday life. It is carried through family, through the stories passed down, through food, music, and tradition. At Amity, we know how important it is for people to be seen fully and not reduced to one part of their story. Culture, family history, and community are part of that fuller picture.

We're proud of our alumni like Gabriel who pour back into our community when they return home. When students graduate our programs, they leave with the resources needed to build lives of stability. #NationalRecoveryMonth
