I have to disable this plugin to make a change to the menu in WordPress. Then when I re-install the plugin and go back to the menu I get this message: Click Save Menu to make pending menu items public.

Even if I try to save the change again it won’t take. I can’t use this plugin unless I don’t intend to ever change the menu/navigation.

I have tried excluding the menu page from caching. That doesn’t seem to work.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    @suziwilson and @justdbk
I made a test on my site and the save menu is working with LSC ON.
Let’s test is setting https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/cache/#cache-rest-api can cause the issue. Please test with setting OFF could fix the issue.
Also other setting to test would be Object cache(https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/cache/#object-tab) please disable it and save menu.

    Hey @litetim

Tested it and the issue seems to come from Object Cache, not the REST API cache.
After disabling Object Cache, the menu saves correctly.

Also worth mentioning that the same problem happens when saving product categories, not just menus.

So it looks like Object Cache is causing conflicts there.

@justdbk connection to Object cache server is working? Does it show Pass in admin https://docs.litespeedtech.com/lscache/lscwp/cache/#status?

@litetim Yes it shows Pass when Object Cache is enabled and Failed when its disabled i dont know if thats expected behavior.

The problem does appear to be the object cache. When I turn it off I can change the menu’s. You were right @justdbk, it causes other issues besides the navigation.

Is this issue going to be addressed or do I need to find another caching plugin?

@suziwilson for now please disable Object Cache. We are looking into the issue.

Disabling “Cache WP-Admin” in “Object cache” solve the issue on my site

@suziwilson try disabling Cache WP-Admin and see if it works for you

Hi, @litetim. I had already disabled the Admin role and disabled caching on /wp-admin/nav-menus.php. The fact is that it is causing other display issues and this is a live site. I manage over 150 websites and if I’m going to use this plugin consistently it needs to work consistently. I’m looking at alternatives now.

@suziwilson Ok, I understand the hassle.
Can you help us with some info?
Do all sites have the same themes, plugins, settings?
Very helpfull would be a report ID generated from one of the site that is using LSC. The report is generated from Admin => LSC => Toolbox => Report => click on “Send to Litespeed” and share the generated ID.

    Thank you!
