But the best learnings come from navigating the storm. 🐘 💻 🛠️ Last week at Agile Manchester, our VP of Engineering, Stephen Janaway, shared a raw, behind-the-scenes look at how we scale, adapt, and solve complex problems at Bloom & Wild. In his case study featured in the image, "What I learnt from rescuing a mammoth technology integration at Bloom & Wild", Steve broke down 4 critical pillars for turning a stuck project around: 🧠 1. Turning 'Blue Monday' into something a little brighter ☀️ We were thrilled to welcome The Black Wellbeing Collective back to the office for our 'Not-So-Blue Monday' recently, a day dedicated to kindness, connection, and proactive self-care. In a fast-paced industry, slowing down is often the most productive thing we can do. Our team took the time to reflect and get creative during a gratitude card-making workshop, sharing words of encouragement for ourselves and each other. Topped off with team breakfast across our offices, it was a beautiful reminder that while the work matters, the people behind it matter more. 63% of Brits now believe their true ‘soulmate’ is actually their best friend, not their romantic partner. Valentine’s Day is traditionally reserved for romantic couples, fancy dinners and romance. But we think it’s time for a rebrand. We surveyed 2,000 people and the data was undeniable: 🩷 87% say their best friend is one of the most important people in their life. 🩷 83% believe their friendships are more likely to last forever compared to their romantic relationships. 🩷 66% confess their best friend knows secrets that their partner doesn't. That’s why we threw a friendship commitment ceremony in London today. In a one-of-a-kind event, 50 best friends made it official, sharing heartfelt vows and exchanging friendship bracelets instead of rings. Because a bond that survives every life chapter deserves more than just a text. The day was filled with fun, fizz and an overwhelming vibe of appreciation and support. Proving one thing: the greatest love stories don’t always involve romance. As our Brand & Range Director, Jo Reason, puts it: ‘Platonic love is still frequently overlooked on Valentine's Day. We wanted to make sure these love stories finally got recognition’. When you’re a flower and gifting brand, things can get pretty busy in the run-up to Valentine’s Day. Across our teams in Europe, we’ve more than doubled the number of deliveries we do in a normal week. The most romantic bunch are in London's East End, where our deliveries have seen the biggest increase versus a normal week (up 142%!) 🩷 Valentine's deliveries in Germany are soaring: +63% versus last year. Our Fairtrade bouquets have been particularly popular after we took part in their ‘Fairburary’ campaign across the country 💚 Typically, 62% of bouquets sold over Valentine’s contain roses. But, for the past five years, we’ve ditched red roses in favour of more thoughtful designs. It means zero clichés and no waste after the demand for them dips post 14 February. A win-win for our customers and the planet 🌎 We don't just do bouquets either. Some of our most loved non-flower gifts this year have been our Letterbox Chocolate Cherry Brownies and the ‘Pub in a Box’ set. To get in the spirit, our teams donned their brightest reds and pinks. A huge thank you to them all for helping make this year’s Valentine celebrations such a success 🙌

As the most wonderful time of the year approaches, we recently paused to celebrate our amazing team and another successful year of delighting our customers with our annual Winter Party 🎄 The pre-party festivities kicked off with a delicious team lunch, followed by a 1920s-inspired Heist! Our teams enthusiastically worked together, solving riddles and following clues around the streets of South London! In the evening, the celebrations continued at The Gun, a glitzy affair complete with delicious food and drink, plus plenty of dancing to the fabulously jazzy sounds of Bella and the Bourbon Boys! A big thank you to the wonderful team of volunteer organisers who dedicated weeks to making this celebration possible, and to everyone for coming along. We’re already looking forward to a fantastic 2026! 🥂
