Build With AI 2026 became the largest Google for Developers community event in Montreal. This event was a true community effort across GDG on Campus chapters at McGill University, Concordia University, and Polytechnique Montréal, with support from local GDGs and GDEs. The afternoon began with a hands-on AI development workshop led by Kiruthika Subramani, followed by her keynote, a presentation of UNI-VERSE by the Google Developer Groups - McGill University Projects Subteam, and finally professional networking within Montreal's developer ecosystem. By the numbers: 980+ registered attendees 125+ industry professionals Representation from Google, Apple, Amazon, Meta, Shopify, Netflix, OpenAI and more. Events like these highlight the power of community bringing together students, builders, and industry leaders to connect and drive innovation.
