Vida familiar
[modifica]Va estar casat amb Sheila Stapler (1940-1947), Sophie Rosenstein (1950-1952†), Elizabeth Montgomery (1956-1963) i Elaine Williams (1963-1966).[2] El 27 de setembre de 1978, a 64 anys, va contraure matrimoni per cinquena vegada, amb Kim Schmidt, una editora de premsa de 31. Tres setmanes després, el 19 d'octubre de 1978, Gig Young va matar la seva cinquena esposa a trets i, tot seguit, es va suïcidar.[3]
