Three gymnastics disciplines were contested at the 2012 Olympic Gemmes in Lunnon: airtistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics an trampolining. The trampoline events wur held at the North Greenwich Arena frae 3 tae 4 August; the airtistic events wur also held at the North Greenwich Arena, frae 28 July tae 7 August. The rhythmic gymnastics events teuk place at Wembley Arena frae 9 tae 12 August.

A tot o 54 medals wur awairded across the three disciplines. The maist successful naition was Cheenae, winnin five gowd medals an 12 in tot. Brazil an Sooth Korea wan their first gowd medal in the discipline in the history o the Simmer Olympic Gemmes.

Qualification wis based on the results o the 2011 Warld Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships held in Montpellier, Fraunce, frae 19–25 September; the 2011 Warld Airtistic Gymnastics Championships in Tokyo, Japan, frae 7–16 October; the 2011 Trampoline Warld Championships in Birmingham, Unitit Kinrick, frae 17–20 November; an Olympic test events held in Januar 2012 at the North Greenwich Arena.
