Krzysztof Jeliński polecił(a) toKrzysztof Jeliński polecił(a) toSmall personal update 🎉 I’ve recently been promoted from Senior Machine Learning Engineer 2 to Senior Machine Learning Engineer 3. Over the past years I had the chance to lead two ML projects end-to-end. The first one ultimately failed. But it forced me to think about the SDLC in ML. The second project is going much smoother - mostly because of the lessons learned from the first one. That’s probably the real definition of progress in this field: make mistakes, learn from them, and build better systems the next time. I'm grateful to all the engineers I’ve had the chance to work with and learn from along the way.

I spoke at Golang Warsaw last week on accelerating Go development with Claude Code. With AI practices evolving so rapidly, it's hard to distinguish effective techniques from noise. My goal was to be clear about what works for me and encourage others to challenge my views and share their experience. The talk sparked a great discussion on how AI can genuinely make us better engineers. As always, you can find the slides and the complete Claude configuration here: https://lnkd.in/dykAJafq My talk was split into four parts: ▪ Model: Understanding the different Claude models and their specific strengths. You don't need to be an expert to choose the right one for the job. ▪ Context: Providing high-quality context is crucial. This includes maintaining an up-to-date CLAUDE md, using mcp (context7!) for access to the latest docs, a clear PLAN md (with corresponding _memories_ files), and practicing good context hygiene. This area offers the most significant gains in output quality. ▪ Prompt: A structured approach like the CLEAR framework and tools like the Claude prompt optimizer significantly improve prompt quality. Check videos from the last Claude Dev conference on this topic. ▪ Tools: CLI integration and automated hooks create seamless workflows. Claude benefits from Go's rapid feedback loop - strongly-typed language, limited keywords, plus golangci-lint. Let me know if you've got feedback or want to share what's working in your code base! Building effective AI workflows for your team? Let's figure it out together. The competitive edge is real. Thank you for the warm welcome! Shutout to the organizers - Golang Warsaw Meetup and our host - Venture Café Warsaw Foundation! #golang #meetup #ai #claude #claudecode #go

IDPs solved the developer experience problem. Now we're solving the last piece of the puzzle. Backstage rallied the OSS community. Port.io productized the concept with polish and velocity. Both changed how engineering teams think about internal platforms. But Kubernetes? Still a blind spot. Most IDPs offer metadata, manifests, and links to external tools. Yet when something breaks, devs still need to understand how to fix it. That’s where Komodor comes in. By integrating directly into Backstage and Port, we bring live Kubernetes context into the developer portal and the developer experience. Health. Changes. Alerts. Root causes. Everything your teams need to take action—without leaving the IDP they know and love to use. The result: - Developers actually understand what’s running—and how to fix it - Platform teams stop firefighting and gain operational clarity and enforcement - Kubernetes becomes a built-in part of the developer experience —not an afterthought The IDP revolution isn’t done yet. But NOW? It's getting Kubernetes native.

🌀 What’s really happening in .NET today? We’re not talking hype. This is hands-on insight from someone who just migrated a production project to .NET 8. We spoke with Yahor Halubchyk, a senior .NET engineer at Vention, to get a grounded take on current trends, migrations, and what’s worth paying attention to. ⚙️ .NET 8 has become the default. It’s stable, fast, and LTS-backed. Upgrading from earlier versions is usually a matter of days. As for .NET 9 — most teams are skipping it and waiting for 10, which promises smart memory handling and auto-optimizations for collections and performance. 🧱 Still on .NET Framework? Brace yourself. If your project’s on modern .NET (formerly Core), migration is straightforward. But if you're stuck on .NET Framework 4.8, you're likely looking at a full rewrite. The architecture is different, and most libraries just won’t work out of the box. 🧩 Third-party libraries are the real bottleneck. Yahor put it simply: “If you're on the standard Microsoft stack, migration is smooth. But if you’re using MongoDB, niche ORMs, or older open-source packages, expect to dig through source code and open GitHub issues.” 📉 Blazor and Razor? Still niche. They’re rarely used in production. React and Angular dominate the frontend. Blazor might work in edge cases, like when sensitive business logic has to stay server-side, but it’s not the go-to. 🤖 AI + .NET: not just buzz — it’s useful. GitHub Copilot struggles with complex logic. But GPT-4? Surprisingly solid. Yahor’s team uses it to generate SQL queries, unit tests, and advanced search logic, especially when given proper context. 🧠 .NET itself? It’s more than a language — it’s an engineering mindset. Think architecture, optimization, concurrency. The learning curve is steep, but so are the opportunities. As Yahor puts it: “If you have real experience, you can jump straight into a project and deliver. For juniors, we offer solid growth.” 📌 We're hiring: 🔹 Senior .NET Developer — https://lnkd.in/digGyN3s 🔹 Intern .NET — https://lnkd.in/dqAM8NPQ

🚀 Accelerating Spring Boot Applications: From Minutes to Seconds with GraalVM In the world of Java development, performance is key for scalable applications. Recently, we explored how a team optimized a Spring Boot app, achieving an impressive acceleration of up to 10 times using GraalVM. This native tool compiles Java code into efficient binaries, reducing startup time and resource consumption. 🔍 The Initial Challenge - Traditional Spring Boot applications take minutes to start due to dynamic class and dependency loading. - In cloud environments or microservices, this generates latency and unnecessary costs in CPU and memory. ⚡ The Solution with GraalVM - GraalVM enables ahead-of-time (AOT) compilation, converting the code into native executables that start in seconds. - Integration with Spring Boot Native: Supports native profiles for automated builds, maintaining compatibility with existing frameworks. - Measured Results: 90% reduction in startup time and up to 50% in memory footprint, ideal for Docker containers. 📊 Practical Benefits - Greater efficiency in CI/CD deployments and horizontal scalability. - Lower environmental footprint by optimizing cloud resources. - Facilitates migrations to serverless architectures without sacrificing functionality. This approach not only accelerates development but redefines performance standards in modern Java. Time for the next speaker at WarsawJS Meetup #133 - meet Szymon Chmal! 🛠️ Write Once, Test Everywhere: Cross-Platform Testing for React Native 💡 Testing React Native apps has always been a trade-off between speed and realism. Jest is fast and excellent for unit tests, but it runs in Node.js and relies on mocks for native modules. End-to-end frameworks offer realism, but at the cost of complex setup, slow pipelines, and high maintenance. Szymon Chmal will introduce React Native Harness, a new testing framework that lets you run Jest-style tests directly on real devices and simulators, with full access to native modules and no mocks by default. This is a game changer for cross-platform testing! Szymon Chmal is a React Native expert at Callstack and creator of the Rozenite and React Native Harness frameworks. He is also a Microsoft MVP in Web Development. He focuses on cross-platform development and building tools to make life easier for developers. He is the founder of GDG Toruń. ⚡ WarsawJS Meetup #133, December 9, 2025, 6:30 PM DataArt Warsaw, WeWork, Mennica Legacy Tower, West Building ul. How #Frontend Roles Drive Product Success in Poland’s Tech Market? ➡️ Front-end vacancies have evolved into must-have positions. Employers now expect front-end developers to deliver both functional code and great design. ➡️ “Front-end engineers are currently among the most sought-after professionals in Poland because they are the ones who shape how users feel a product. In the era of digital transformation, every company – regardless of industry – needs an intuitive, well-crafted interface,” says Emilia Szczepańska, HR Projects Coordinator at Verita HR Group. “It’s the front end that defines the first impression and, ultimately, the product’s success in the market. Companies fully understand this.” #ITinPoland #React #Angular #PolishITMarket https://lnkd.in/dWm7ZKi2
