Complex today announced the acquisition of Presq (PlatformByPresq Inc.), a Los Angeles-based design technology and advanced manufacturing company whose AI-powered platform enables creators to move from concept to finished product without traditional barriers such as minimum order quantities, tooling costs, or extended production timelines. Complex continues its focus on building systems and expanding its capabilities so that content, community, and commerce operate in one integrated ecosystem. The acquisition brings Presq’s technology and manufacturing partnerships and sees founder Adam S. step into the role of Creative Technologist. This move supports Complex’s broader investments in AI-driven personalization, agile manufacturing infrastructure, and immersive digital environments, including expanded XR production capabilities that will connect digital engagement directly to physical products. "At Complex, we've been working to make culture and commerce the same act. Not a tagline, an operating model. Adam's been one of the real maverick pioneers in this space, bridging cultural commerce and technology when most people were still treating them as separate conversations. What he built with Presq, the ability to go from idea to real product using AI and advanced manufacturing, that's a rare capability. It doesn't exist off the shelf. Having that inside our marketplace changes what we can offer. This is a creative acquisition as much as a technical one,” said Marc Eckō, Chief Creative & Innovation Officer at Complex.
