What if your data could be made worthless to anyone who collects it?" Our founder has been working on the answer. Stay tuned. https://lnkd.in/g2EaFS7J
"You are the product." We've all heard it. But nobody has actually offered a solution that could stop us from being the product. Your ISP still sells your online activity. Data brokers compile profiles on you that include your health concerns, your finances, your politics, your relationships, and they sell them to anyone who pays. And now every conversation you have with ChatGPT, Gemini, or any AI assistant is building upon those profiles. VPNs don't fix this. They just shift who holds your data, and they can still fingerprint your hardware. Ad blockers help, but trackers evolve faster than blockers can keep up. Going off-grid isn't realistic for most people. So we've all just accepted it. I haven't. I'm a software engineer. I've been working in tech for over a decade, and I've spent the last two years running an organization called Prevent Dystopia, hosting speaking events, bringing in big tech whistleblowers and AI researchers to confront the moral failures of this industry. I've watched AI accelerate all of it, and it's not heading toward the cool cyberpunk kind of dystopia in the movies. It's the kind where Kroger changes the price tag on your groceries right before you reach for them because they know exactly what you'll pay. So I built something. What if your data could be made completely worthless to anyone who collects it? It's called Cloaks AI, and in one week I'm releasing it for MacOS and Windows. Pay what you want. The goal is adoption, not revenue. More details dropping next week. Comment or follow me here if you want to be notified about the launch. Fight AI with AI. Be unpredictable.
