To share is to be human. We share perspective, traditions. We share beginnings and ends. We share memories. We share the things we love and the things we’re still trying to understand. Sharing is what connects us. To each other. To our communities. To the world we’re building together. And when it comes to creatives… sharing isn’t just something we do it’s how the work moves. It’s how ideas stop being figments and start becoming something real. Across a suite of products and tools,  Dropbox has helped you share  at every step of the process.  And we’ll be here to help you share  what comes next. Share more with Dropbox. https://bit.ly/3QRiBkN

Building with AI starts with pushing past what you thought was possible. 🚀 Engineering Director Anuradha sees ambition as giving engineers space to experiment. When her team tests new AI tools, they uncover real solutions, including autonomously upgrading 200 legacy software packages in two months. By pushing builders to attempt the impossible, she’s fostering a culture where anything is possible. Ready to #OwnYourImpact? Josh Clemm, VP of Engineering at Dropbox, joins Georgie Healy to cut through the noise and get to what is actually happening with AI agents right now. Josh has scaled engineering teams at LinkedIn and Uber Eats, founded his own AI venture, and is now building Dash, Dropbox's context layer designed to make agents dramatically more reliable. This is someone who has been on the coalface of this technology longer than most. In this episode Josh introduces two ideas that will change how you think about AI at work. Context rot, the reason your large language models quietly get dumber the more information you give them. And work slop, the plausible sounding but completely hollow output that gets generated when AI tools are used without intention. He also delivers the most reassuring reality check of the year for anyone feeling overwhelmed by the idea that everyone already has a fully functioning team of AI agents working for them. They also get into how the index approach behind Dash solves what real time fetching cannot, why the next AI breakthrough might actually come from old fashioned software engineering principles, and the two engineers Josh considers the greatest builders of their generation and why neither of them was asked to build what they built. 🎧 Tune in here: https://lnkd.in/gQkp7hmR

True innovation means looking far beyond the immediate horizon. 🔭 For Principal Software Engineer Sean-Michael, dedication to the long game requires a "don't ask, just do" culture. When Sean-Michael’s team saw an opportunity to automate bug fixes, they didn't wait, they built the AI tooling themselves, creating the autonomy needed to tackle context engineering at scale. Real momentum comes from shared knowledge. 🤝 A recent DSPy meetup at the Dropbox Studio in San Francisco brought together builders from across the community. The discussion centered on moving beyond manual prompt engineering and building systems that support faster, more accurate decisions. A special thanks to Drew Breunig, all who attended, and those that presented: Dmitriy Meyerzon, Eric Wang, Isaac Miller, and Kshetrajna Raghavan. Build the systems of tomorrow with us. #OwnYourImpact at Dropbox → https://lnkd.in/eqFan-U3 #LifeInsideDropbox #AIEngineering #DSPy #MachineLearning
