We built a tool to sync Stripe data into Postgres so we could query billing data with SQL. Stripe engineers started contributing to it, and today the repo moves to Stripe's GitHub org. The idea was simple: keep a stripe schema in your Postgres Database current with your Stripe account (subscriptions, invoices, customers, and now coupons) so you can query billing data alongside your application data with SQL, no custom webhook handlers or ETL pipelines required. The repo will stay open source and we'll keep building it together. New in this release: coupons sync, branching support, and immediate sync on install. Last year we ran the State of Startups survey and 2,110 founders responded. The results told us things we couldn't find anywhere else: what tech stacks startups actually use (not what they say on Hacker News), where their first paying customers came from, and what keeps them up at night.
