  • ChangeNOW 2026 reminded us why turning innovation into action matters! This year, we brought together our Success Program Software Development Companies, partners, and the wider ecosystem to show how technology can drive real outcomes across Education, Nonprofit Solutions, and Sustainability. From NGO pitch sessions and solution led workshops to deep dives on scaling AI for good, the focus was on visibility, collaboration, and creating concrete opportunities for impact driven entrepreneurs. We were proud to host two key sessions that explored ways in which digital and AI ready tools can help nonprofits scale impact, improve efficiency, and strengthen mission delivery, and how the private sector can collaborate with AI for good startups to unlock meaningful change. Huge thanks to our innovators, partners, and jury members, and to everyone who leaned in to make these conversations count: Shayp, EduTech Global, Material Exchange, Fruggr by Digital4Better, Level IT, Springly, Anthony Virapin, EY, Emily Will, Sophia Otoo, MovingWorlds, and the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, HSO

  • At Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact, we spend a lot of time listening to founders building solutions for some of the world’s most pressing challenges. And across our community, a few shifts are becoming increasingly clear.   One of the most notable is a move from experimentation to responsibility - Entrepreneurs are looking beyond implementing AI 'because we can', towards implementing it because it’s needed — designed with intention, governed thoughtfully, and built to earn trust from day one.   We’re also seeing a shift in how solutions are built - More founders are co‑designing AI with communities, not just for them which is grounding innovation in lived experience and local context. This participatory approach is leading to solutions that are more inclusive and relevant, making them more likely to be adopted in the real world.   Together, these trends point to a maturing impact ecosystem that places people and collaboration at the heart of innovation.   Because lasting impact is about how decisions are made and whether the solutions we build truly reflect the communities they aim to serve.

  • What began as a research project to explore new ways of preventing food waste has since grown into a powerful, technology‑driven platform.   FoodFair was developed by Level IT, one of our Success Program innovators, with a clear goal: to prove that digital innovation could efficiently connect food donors with charities and create meaningful social impact. That early proof of concept demonstrated how technology could play a practical role in tackling complex, real‑world challenges.   FoodFair’s journey shows how purpose‑driven innovation, developed by impact innovators like Level IT and supported by Azure, can turn an urgent idea into a scalable solution with lasting social and sustainable impact.   👉 Read the full story on Microsoft Unlocked: https://lnkd.in/eCcpFUpa

  • In an AI‑first internet, trust is now a core founder's challenge.   A recently published Microsoft report makes it clear: when synthetic media and deepfakes are easy to create, looking real is no longer enough. Trust directly affects customer decisions, partner confidence, and how resilient your brand is under pressure.   For entrepreneurs, it is critical to build verifiability into how they communicate, as the real advantage won’t just be what they create, but how easily others can verify it.   Read the report here 👉 https://lnkd.in/ghggqTkX

  • Bringing together nonprofit leaders from around the world was a powerful reminder that real progress starts with people and community. Across sectors, nonprofits shared how they are using creativity, care, and now AI to strengthen their missions but always grounded in the needs of those they serve. The most meaningful moments came from organizations learning directly from one another as they discussed their lived experiences, practical lessons, and belief in what’s possible when we work together to drive positive impact.

Last week, we brought together 1,200 nonprofit leaders from 80 organizations across 40 countries at the Microsoft Global Nonprofit Leader Summit. Being together was a powerful reminder of the depth and importance of the work nonprofits are doing every day in communities around the world. These organizations are close to the people they serve, addressing urgent challenges across healthcare, education, workforce development, and community resilience. That proximity shows up in the way they work and in the impact they’re having. Throughout the week, we heard how many nonprofits are using AI in thoughtful, often inventive ways to extend their reach and strengthen their missions. The focus wasn’t on technology itself, but on how it can help teams do more, reach further, and make better decisions in service of real people. What stood out most was the learning nonprofits shared with one another. Honest conversations, practical insights, and a clear sense of possibility about what can be achieved together. Much of the teaching came directly from the nonprofits themselves, grounded in lived experience. To nonprofits everywhere, thank you. Thank you for the care, creativity, and commitment you bring to your work, and for the difference you are making every day in the communities you serve. • We're at ChangeNOW this week and the energy is surreal!   The first two days brought packed sessions and a standout turnout at our workshops for non-profit organizations. What stood out most is that the AI conversation is moving fast and it’s getting more practical, and impact-led.   Our ecosystem partners and innovators all agreed on one thing: that they’re looking for practical, scalable ways to turn data and AI into real outcomes with efficiency, accountability, and stronger mission delivery. Exactly the kind of collaboration we’re here to enable.   If you're still around today, come say hi! We’d love to connect.
