WAKE UP and Download!!!! Thanks Dave, this is a great compilation of the '68 tour- appreciate all the fine work you do for us as always- P.S. Tosh show also excellent- didn't notice a slow speed as the other post read however my mind was altered while listening- The mind is a terrible thing. Peace Barry
This matches the setlist for the Sept. 20, 1968 late show.
Thanks Dave for the Doors sdb.!
p.s.: Hey Barry, i'm the "anon" who wrote that the Peter Tosh show is running a little bit slow--glad it didn't bother you (in your enhanced state especially!;)--and you know what, this Doors show seems to be running a little fast in terms of pitch/speed--these kinds of tapes are really a test to my *perfect pitch*! ;)
Thanks very much for this one. Is it at all possible to post The Doors Danbury CT High School 1967.
i think you might of done once along time ago and I would love to hear it.
Thanks from the UK
Sure, I will repost Danbury.
Anon- it's really subjective, I didn't hear the fast speed however agree that the pitch is high-I think it's the source- but this state of mind is constant and I, as you seek perfection, will have to giv'em another listen. You are probably correct- anyone else? Peace- Barry
In my ears it´s sound really great. Thank you very much & all the best for you.
Hello,
A Doors, and more with a good sound. So I take it but don't forget to say many thanks to you, who share so many beautiful things.
Best regards from France,
drogos
Sweet!
Very good, Dave. Thanks.
Whoa! This is kind of the real deal. I haven't been that interested in the Doors since college, but man, this awakens my interest. I mean, listen to that descending bass line on "You're Lost Little Girl"... incredible, incredible...
Thanks Dave!
Thanks, Dave. Great selection as usual:) That Grass Roots thing that you posted a few weeks back was FINE as well! (the old lady really loved it). Too bad there isn't more of their stuff circulating in the undercurrents...
Just finished listening to the whole show. Man... what a great concert. The sound is unbeatable too.
Thanks a million times!!!
I think our man with the perfect pitch is right - sounds as if Jim is on speed (pun intended). With that exception this is a really great posting. Just think of it: almost 45 years ago, and then such a magnificent result. One could only wish for more.....so thanks a lot for just another great great gift to music lovers around the world.

Been listening to a lot of Doors lately as well as concert footage on TV so looking forward to this - thanks.
Out of curiosity I have tried to stretch/pitch correct some of the files - in order to remove Jim sounding as if he was on helium. Stretching When the music... by 8% increased duration from 13:15 to 14:19, and now it runs too slow to me - ti becomes a very placid experience. 5% on "The end..." increased it from 14:22 to 15:06, and that sounds less frenetic than the original and more Doors-like to me (beauty is in the ear of the beholder).

What software did you use to stretch it? Any basic details appreciated.
Long live Christiania!!
Dave - Excellent post. It sounds fantastic to my ears.
D2.
Correct about the late show setlist (Unkonwn Soldier is allegedly from the first show that night) at the
Konserthouset, Stockholm, Sweden - September 20, 1968
There was a boot of this (no idea what quality?) called "Light My Fire/ Live" on On Stage Records.
Great! Really great, Dave!! Keep up the fantabulous work!!

Thanks very much for the speed corrected version Dave!
Adobe Audition or it's former version (Cool Edit Pro) work well for this kind of work.
Well done, the speed corrected version is a pleasure to listen to. The first edition makes me think Jim sings like the smurfs !
I don't know what ratio Dave used to make his speed-corrected version, but i took the original boot and did a simple and easy adjustment of -3.0% and it sounds *right* to me!
Outstanding tunes. The band is fantastic on this disc.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU
filserve download ( speed corrected version ) times out in 1 minute. Hotfile, mega, rapid all work fine.
Thanks again Dave!
