Introduction to Incident Handling
Although we care about cybersecurity and allocate budget and invest in security systems, it is still possible to get targeted and experience a cybersecurity incident. In order to minimize loss and destructions, mitigating the exploited vulnerabilities and restoring services after the incident without any problems, Incident Response Teams should be formed prior to cybersecurity incidents to manage the incident response processes.
Accurate planning and resources are required as incident response is a complex process that may cause all incident response processes to be wasted in case of any inaccurate or overlooked steps.
