BOX OFFICE UPDATES - READ ME FIRST
[edit]| BOX OFFICE FIGURES If you have come here to post an edit request to change the box office collections for a film, please provide a reliable independently verified source to support your request. Additionally, make sure that that source is listed in the table at WP:ICTFSOURCES as reliable and is not using an already established unreliable source as it's source (WP:FRUIT) or any announcement made by the makers of the film (WP:PRIMARY). Any deviation from these prerequisites will be considered as disruptive and will be removed. |
If there is currently an open request in this thread please add any additional update requests to it instead of starting a new one.

Box office projected over 70 crores. ~2026-55225-37 (talk) 14:02, 15 October 2026 (UTC)
- Yeah, I saw it in Google and in Sacnilk that India gross has crossed ₹50 cr mark..but Wikipedia doesn't recognize Sacnilk as a reliable source. So, if you find, then suggest a reliable source which supports the ₹70 cr box office figure. MVP Addy (talk) 15:26, 15 October 2026 (UTC)
- This is precisely why the page was updated to ECP. We don't have a more recent reliable source at this time. Everything else that's been submitted was WP:FRUIT. ChompyTheGogoat [ Bleat | Munched ] 21:39, 21 October 2026 (UTC)

AI-generated tag
[edit]Looking at the history of the AI-generated tag here, I see:
- @ChompyTheGogoat added it on 17 October with the edit summary of "Flag for LLM content", marked minor edit
- @ExclusiveEditor removed it on 19 October with the edit summary of "No relevant discussion so as to which section has problems. AI detectors flag almost everything on Wikipedia this days."
- ChompyTheGogoat added it back on 19 October with the edit summary "This was flagged by a human based on obvious tells, thank you very much. You may discuss on talk."
ChompyTheGogoat, can you describe the tells that you're seeing? Ideally, could you point out specific revisions that seem AI-generated, to help others inspect and mitigate the issue? Here's what I'm seeing, not really conclusive:
- I ran a Pangram scan (an imperfect but helpful tool), and it evaluated the article as likely 97% human, with these two sentences as likely AI:
In March, however, Nelson said he was uncertain that Jailer 2 would be his immediate next project, meaning that the sequel was still in development rather than formally greenlit at that stage. By April, reports said that the first draft had been completed and that Nelson was preparing to move into pre-production.
- The article uses "subsequently" 9 times, "confirm" or "confirmed" 27 times, and "reports" or "reportedly" or "reported" 27 times. The reception section says "wrote" 15 times. I've seen this kind of repetition of keywords in AI-generated articles, although people also do this.
- The article looks like it grew relatively organically over time; I can't find particularly large additions that suggest copy-pasting from a chatbot.
- I'm seeing some failed verifications, like the following, but not a really unusual number:
Dreamyshade (talk) 04:39, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
- It was various tells like that plus certain things I've seen before like the reviews being summarized as positive when that's not what they actually say. I think I got a high result scanning at least one part as well. I was chasing down various things at once. It is tricky because of the extensive edit history; I don't know how much was generated or when it was added, so it was easier to flag for someone more experienced to look over than attempt to suss it out. There was also reference formatting that seemed suspicious, but apparently it's a new VE feature instead. ChompyTheGogoat [ Bleat | Munched ] 05:55, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks! I've found that the browser extension "Who Wrote That?" can really help with tracking down suspicious edits.
- @Espenthordsen Did you use any AI chatbots, such as ChatGPT, to generate text that you used for the "Reception" section? Dreamyshade (talk) 06:27, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
- I'm mainly on mobile, so no extensions, unfortunately. I do have Wikiblame - and in fact when I used it on this article apparently I got an incorrect hit (on an editor who has used AI elsewhere) that ended up all the way at ANI. Sigh. ChompyTheGogoat [ Bleat | Munched ] 06:39, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
- No, I wrote the text for the Reception section myself, without using any AI chatbots. I can promise that :) Espenthordsen (talk) 06:41, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
- I have restored the unsourced tag for the cast section. I'm not sure when or why that one was removed, since it is in fact still unsourced, and manipulating cast lists wouldn't be anything new. ChompyTheGogoat [ Bleat | Munched ] 07:01, 23 October 2026 (UTC)
