🎙️ On Northern Sound, Justin Molloy, CIF Director of Western & Midland Regions, spoke about one of the key messages of the CIF Construction Safety Campaign: never let pressure to get the job done override the importance of health and safety. While most workers arrive on site with the right training and PPE, complacency can still creep in. Justin highlighted the need to continually reinforce safe behaviours and ensure that every task is carried out safely, no matter the deadline. #CIFRegions #CIFSafety26

Looking after the people who build Ireland means looking beyond the immediate risks on site. We are proud to recognise the Construction Workers Health Trust (CWHT) as a Charity Partner of the CIF Construction Safety Campaign 2026. Established in 1994, CWHT is dedicated to promoting better health and healthier lifestyles among construction workers. Through its free, on-site health screening programme, the Trust brings preventative healthcare directly to workers, helping them better understand their health and identify areas that may need further attention. Its work is an important reminder that construction safety extends beyond preventing accidents. Looking after the people who work in the industry also means prioritising their long-term health and wellbeing. Learn more about CWHT at www.cwht.ie.
