🎥 Why volunteer with the Irish Funds Financial Literacy TY Programme? 🎓 Meet Lauryn O’Shea from Deloitte, who has volunteered with the Irish Funds Financial Literacy TY Programme in schools including Kinsale Community College and St. Flannan’s College, Ennis. Hear about Lauryn’s experience delivering the programme and why she believes volunteering is such a rewarding opportunity. One topic Lauryn found particularly resonated with students was the difference between saving and investing. Using the Financial Times portfolio, students were able to track how their investments performed over time, bringing the concepts to life. 🙌 Why volunteer? ✅ Help build financial confidence among young people ✅ Share your industry knowledge and career journey ✅ Develop your communication and presentation skills ✅ Connect with colleagues from across the industry ✅ Support communities and inspire the next generation Last year, with the support of volunteers from 25 member firms, we reached more than 800 students across 30 schools in 17 counties nationwide. 📢 We're recruiting volunteers for the 2026/2027 programme and would love to welcome both new and returning participants from our member firms. 📩 Contact typrogramme@irishfunds.ie to learn more. #IrishFunds #FinancialLiteracy #TYProgramme
