Say hello to Mujtaba Javed, our Finance Manager. Mujtaba chose Chartered Accountancy, and his articles gave him a close look at how differently businesses work, from manufacturing to textiles to trading. Auditing taught him a lot, but he knew he wanted to be on the side that actually runs the finance function. Kickstart gave him that chance. He started out as outsourced support, taking care of taxation, bookkeeping, and bank reconciliations, and helping with the move from one system to another. As the work grew, so did his role, from Assistant Finance Controller to Finance Manager. Today he leads the team that looks after receivables, payables, reconciliation, reporting, tax filing, and internal audit. “Steady effort beats rushing. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲: I’m Ahsan Arif, Founder & CEO of NODE, a young entrepreneur and a former student, so finding a good work environment within my budget really mattered.
