CIArb Rwanda Branch was delighted to host a successful CIArb Global Connect event, bringing together members for meaningful engagement and reflection. The day began with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, where participants paid tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi and reflected on the importance of justice, reconciliation, and peace. This was followed by a productive discussion on the future of the Rwanda Branch, exploring opportunities for growth, member engagement, and the continued development of arbitration and ADR in Rwanda. The event concluded with a cocktail reception and networking session with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb) HQ Governance & Corporate Affairs Director, providing members with an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen connections, and discuss the future of Ciarb globally and within the region. The CIArb Rwanda Branch today held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), chaired by the Branch Chairman Aimé Mbarushimana (LLM, MCIArb).
