Running into someone we like is always more pleasant than being near vile creatures like Rachel Zoe or Star Jones.

Thankfully for us, we met someone on Friday night at new Miami hotspot Mokai that we actually like (a lot) and who is very talented, Milo Ventimiglia.

And, not only is the Heroes hottie really nice, but he's also a Perezhilton.com reader! And that makes him so much hotter.

Milo was kickin' it with a crew of friends and his agents from CAA, who are having a party at the same venue on Saturday night.

Friday, though, Jeremy Piven and Kanye West held court, hosting a party for the film Smokin' Aces sponsored by Hennesey and Polaroid.

In typical Pivert fashion, Jeremy was smokin' a big fat cigar and chatting with several bimbos.

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo made quite an entrance with their entourage of at least a dozen people. They all made a big scene and held hands like grade-schoolers as their group was escorted to their table.

Earlier in the evening, Kevin Federline made an even bigger and more poorly received entrance at the Maxim magazine party at the Sagamore, dubbed "Hotel de Maxim" for the evening.

The soon-to-be former Mr. Britney Spears sprinted down the red carpet and refused to talk to any reporters.

Being the media whore that he is, Perez chatted with just about everyone. The only person that worked it harder than the Queen of All Media was Brooke Hogan, and we all know that tranny is even more desperate than Perezelle.

The Maxim event was an interesting study in social interaction, watching the sports figures interact with the celebrities and the models and a porn star (Stormy Daniels) or two.

A solo Tom Brady - Giselle must have been busy - mingled with our fellow Cubanito, baseball superstar Alex Rodriguez. And, thankfully, Brady didn't hide his pretty little face from the photogs on Friday night.

Joe Simpson was there and his thoughts - he told us - were with long-time famili friend Lane Garrison.

The beleaguered Prison Break star's parents both passed away when he was younger and he was practically raised by the Simpson family.

"Lane will do the right thing," said Papa Joe. "He'll do the right thing by the family [of the deceased]."

On the bright side, Simpson told us that he and his family were thrilled with daughter Jessica's relationship with rocker John Mayer.

The Maxim party featured a musical performance by Fergie, who sang her hits London Bridge and Fergalicious.

It was a predominantly boy's crowd, with such random guests as Andy Roddick, Ryan Cabrera, Steve-O, Pauley Shore, Mickey Rourke, Taye Diggs, Chris Isaak, Craig Ferguson, Jeff Gordon, Snoop, Paul Oakenfold, Taye Diggs, John Salley, Spike Lee, Jerry Bruckheimer, Cal Ripkin Jr, Terrel Owens, Matt Leinert, Reggie Bush, Marlon Wayans, Kid Rock, Ludacris and Jamie Foxx.

"It's great being a star at a Maxim party...because I'm sleazy," David Spade joked to Perez, when he came over to introduce himself.

There's truth in humor, though!

The newly single funnyman was definitely enjoying the attention from the ladies.

Spade and the Gossip Gangstar spent a good time talking about our mutual love and respect of Denise Richards and laughing our asses off at her coochie lips.

Though they never publicly admitted that they were dating, Heather Locklear's relationship with funnyman David Spade appears to have cooled off.

Life & Style Weekly is reporting that the pair have called it quits.

"They had a lot of blowups and fights," a friend tells the mag. "They decided that they weren't a good fit romantically."

And, according to L&S;, Heather's already found herself a new man, TV producer Jonathan Prince (pictured above with Locklear).

"She's known Jonathan for a very long time, and he's been on her radar," a source tells the pub. "They've always been friends, but now it's something much more."

Over Labor Day weekend, the new couple had dinner together twice, including a night at Heather's favorite local restaurant, Rustico. And on September 4th, Jonathan, had plans to meet Heather's relatives at a Locklear family picnic, the friend says.

And, adding fuel to the split fire, Spade seems to be playing the field as well!

On September 3rd, he dined with former flame Teri Hatcher at LA restaurant Il Sole, reports the mag.

Teri slipped in the back door not long after David arrived, and after an evening of drinks, they left together via the front door.

Lindsay Lohan really got into it as she did karoke with David Spade and Kid Rock at the weekend birthday party for Heather Locklear's boyfriend in Santa Monica.

Despite friends of both claiming that their relationship is nothing serious, Heather Locklear is making her feelings for David Spade known publicly and permanently.

The former Mrs. Richie Sambora recently had the name "Finch" tattooed just above her right ankle.

Finch, you ask? Yes, Finch, which just so happens to be the name of the character David Spade played in his '90s sitcom, Just Shoot Me.

On Friday night, sources tell PerezHilton.com that the couple went to see The Go Gos perform at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles (though they left the show early).

Things have not turned out well for any of the parties involved in the Richie Rich scandal, aka Melrose Place 2006.

As we previously reported, Richie Sambora and Denise Richards have ended their relationship. And, now comes word that Heather Locklear and David Spade are over as well, reports In Touch Weekly.

"She was not comfortable with the way things were going," a friend of Locklear's tells the pub. "She decided that she'd be better off alone."

It seems that Heather didn't take a liking to the way David was treating her, possibly explaining why all the tabs claimed they were "keeping it loose" in their relationship.

"[Spade] can be very demanding," says Locklear's friend. "He never wanted to stay over at her place. It just wasn't working," recounts In Touch. "Heather isn't in a rush to get into another serious relationship."

However, don't feel too sorry for Heather. On May 7th, the mag reports, she was spotted having dinner with Gary Shandling!

Seriously???? WTF????

The web they weave is even more tangled than we've known!

A little bird tells us that David Spade, pictured above with former flame Krista Allen (George Clooney's on-again/off-again girlfriend), is connected to this whole Richie Rich scandal in a much juicier way than we would have thought.

Spade is a notorious player, and in addition to Krista, Heather Locklear and Lara Flynn Boyle, the Showbiz Show star has also dated Donna Peele, who interestingly enough used to be married to Charlie Sheen.

That explains David's chilly reception towards Charlie recently.

Sheen was out to dinner last week with Matthew Perry the same night that Spade was at hot new eatery The Bridge, from the same owners as Koi.

David didn't go up to Sheen's table to say hi to Matthew until Charlie was in the bathroom doing blow blow-drying his hands.

Spade and Peele are still close friends, a source close to the situation tells us.
