The M41A pulse rifle, from Aliens is awesome

Thank you, kind sir! I went ahead an added some descriptions and equipment to several of the pictures. I appreciate the advice as I am a longtime lurker and first time poster.

Yes, many of the prop replicas were purchased prior to kids, so I had a bit more disposable income! In the adjacent bedroom, I actually have a few more prop replicas that will not fit on the shelves and three life-size displays (ESB Stormtrooper, ESB Vader and ANH Tie Pilot).

I definitely want to add speakers to the ceiling. I am a bit worried about the surrounds blending in to the Atmos speakers being that they are mounted so high. The room is directly above the garage, so access to the attic is a bit difficult.

I am also currently trying to determine the future course of the theater. I plan on living in this house for approximately 5 more years. I am looking to retire and move to a less congested area where I could potentially design and build a new theater from scratch. So, keeping this in mind, I have to determine how much money I want to invest in this room as I am thinking about leaving all of this behind. So, I can either go with a whole new setup that I would prefer (PSA MTM210K for the L/C/R with PSA C6K-M for ceiling Atmos and side + rear surrounds) or just buy some SVS Ultra Evolution Elevation speakers to scratch the itch for now. Very nice job, my good man! Clean, practical and a superb combination of equipment. Some of your replicas/memorabilia had me hissing obscenities, which is always a sign of good stuff! You are right on the money about the upfiring speakers - I tried them, and wasn't impressed, so I took the rather crude approach of bracketing full-range speakers from the ceiling to cover the 'height' requirements, and the difference is night/day.

You might want to go through and add descriptions to each of the photos, as such an eye-catching setup is practically begging for more information! (less)

A few shots of my home theater. I have been out of the game for a few years due to the expense of having kids, but I have recently been bitten by the bug once again. Upgraded to the Sony 715ES 4K projector, a Marantz Cinema 40 receiver, two PSA EV18Neo-M subwoofers, an SVS Ultra Evolution Center and the Panasonic 820 BD Player. L/R Speakers are old NHT SuperTwos with rear and side surrounds being NHT SuperOnes. They were purposely mounted high to keep kids and dogs from knocking them over, but I may have to lower them to add Atmos speakers to the ceiling. At the moment, I am using NHT AFX Atmos upfiring speakers, which are not that great, but can add some decent additions during certain movies. Will be looking to upgrade screen size and possibly L/R or L/C/R. (less)
